Chapter 14: Hidden Truths

Alex sat at his desk, pouring over the financial records he had managed to obtain. He had been searching for any discrepancy, any hint of wrongdoing, but so far, everything seemed to check out.

Just as he was about to give up, his eyes landed on a small entry, buried deep in the documents. A payment to a shell company, one that Ryder had set up months ago.

Alex's heart raced as he realized the significance. This could be the proof they needed to take down Ryder.

He quickly printed out the documents and made his way to Dynamite's office.

"Dynamite, I found something," Alex said, bursting through the door.

Dynamite looked up from his computer, a hint of excitement in his eyes. "What is it?"

Alex handed him the documents. "A payment to a shell company. I think this is the proof we need."

Dynamite's eyes scanned the documents, his expression growing more serious by the second. "This is it. This is the proof we need to take down Ryder."

Just then, Prisca walked in, a look of concern on her face. "Guys, I need to tell you something."

Dynamite and Alex exchanged a glance. "What is it?" Dynamite asked.

Prisca hesitated. "I've been doing some digging on Ryder's past. And I found something. Something big."

Dynamite's eyes narrowed. "What is it?"

Prisca took a deep breath. "Ryder's not who he says he is. He's been using an alias. His real name is... "

But before she could finish, the door burst open and Ryder himself walked in, a sinister grin spreading across his face...
