She turned to the other voice, the other man. “Dennis!” she said, waving him over. “Come here. I want you to meet someone.” Dennis waddled her way, his head bobbing like a buoy. Sweat beads rolled down his face. “How you doing, little lady!” he said, laughing. He reached out and put his arm around her waist when he finally reached her. “Whew! It’s a hot one!
