Athena’s pov
I was so angry at Leo that I needed to hit something. So, I decided to go down to the gym in the basement and hit the punching bag. I even put a picture of Leo on it. His smiling face made me even angrier.
Had I read the signals he was giving me wrong? I really thought he liked me. He made me feel like such a fool. I wanted to take off so bad, but I knew it was a bad idea. That monster was out there somewhere waiting to kill me.
I couldn’t let my pride get in the way of my life. So, I am stuck here playing the loving wife to a d**k cop. Could my life get any worse? I thought Leo was that one good thing in my life. Man was I way off.
