Chapter 62
Patti’s pov
I told Oliver to go home and rest because he was not handling this well. I was glad he did. I wanted to be alone with Lucien. I was sitting here beside his bed holding his hand. If he wakes up, I plan on telling him everything that happened to me. Then I plan on telling him that I love him.
“Lucien please wake up. I need you.”
The monitor started to make a noise and all of a sudden, I was pushed aside as doctors and nurses came rushing in. I heard them announce a code blue and I about lost it. I needed air. I felt as if I couldn’t breathe.
There was no way Lucien could die. I was going to lose him before I even had the chance to be with him. I hurried to call Oliver and told him what was going on. He said he would be right here. I didn’t want to go through this
