I couldn’t believe what CeeCee was telling me. Her face was all red and swollen. I grabbed her some ice and put it against her cheek. How could her father treat her this way?
Why would any father try to force her to marry a man she didn’t love? Hearing her cry like this hurt. CeeCee has always been all about family. I can’t imagine what this is doing to her.
