That moment when it all started
Chapter one
I wiped my face dry with my towel and then I noticed the calendar right in front of me ..it was three days to resumption ,I wasn't particularly excited buh neither did I hate the thought of school too...it was just that there wasn't much to look forward to as I was more or less invisible in that school.
My name is Layla shaw ..I have lived for sixteen years in this world where no one knew I existed..I'm the only child of my parents ..my parents are high caliber lawyers and also royalties ..so you could say we are pretty rich.
I have always been on my own as my parents are always busy traveling all over the world to attend to a case buh who cares I get to do things I like without any one complaining.
I was always at home with the maid and a few cleaners which were already my family... I treated them like family since my family just cared that I was alive .
Layla, it's time for lunch "Aunt Agnes said as she stood by my door ... she had been my nanny ever since I was four and you could tell she was special to me ...I treated her as my mother.
Okay, Aunt Agnes" I put my towel on the hanger and went with her to our fancy dining which could contain twenty people buh only I mostly used .
Layla, you have not been out of the house since the holiday started.. don't you want to go out to do something?"she asked me buh I quickly nodded saying no.
She sighed buh she did not force me to do anything as she understood the kind of person I was .
Layla, i thought of something yesterday.. something really nice -only if you'll agree though .."Aunt Agnes said as she raised an eyebrow.
Go on ,Aunt Agnes "I said and I continued to enjoy my lunch .
I want you to change something about you and this time I mean it 'she said with a serious face .
Things like what ?'
The way you dress,speak ...I really want you to make friends..you have been lonely for too long 'she looked at me with her wide eyes .. I knew she cared .
Okay'I smiled at her .
Really ?'"she asked with an expression of surprise ..I guess she wasn't expecting me to agree so quickly.
Yeah...the Idea of a change is not bad...I think I want to try it ' I said sincerely.
I really wanted to give me a chance , maybe then I could make friends and who knows get a boyfriend if luck shines on me.
Thank goodness , leave it to me baby girl and watch everything change "she said with confidence and I believed her ...I always did .
Three days passed by quickly and I am to resume this morning..I wasn't eager buh I still got up early ..I was just about to take off my clothes when Aunt Agnes came in ...she wanted to help with my hair .
Layla .. I think you should have some curls in your hair ,what do you think ?"she asked me .
Sure"I said as I was ready to do whatever she wanted ...my hair as always been straight ..so I really wanted to see if I was going to pull of the look .
After some minutes, the tip of my hair was smoothly curled and it bounced around my back...it looked really nice ...I liked it .
Thanks Aunt "I smiled at her .
Have your bathe ,when you are done ring the bell ..so I'll bring the clothes I prepared for you "she said and I nodded gently .
An hour passed by and I could already see the difference...I looked hot .
With this look... even the hottest guy won't be able to resist you "Aunt Agnes said jokingly and I laughed along with her.
I was dressed in a high cut jean skirt and a crop top that made my neck line obvious and nice .. I liked the outfit ..it was hundred percent better than whatever I ever wore.
The curls in my hair made me look so mature yet innocent...I was enjoying the look.
Common, it's time for school ..you can't be late "Aunt Agnes hurried and soon I was on my way to school .
