Terra

THE LABORATORY  A silver-haired and clear blue-eyed female shut the door she had just passed. She cleared her throat, announcing her arrival to an unknown yet well-known source. Her posture fixed itself before she spoke, "I'm here to report on Terra's performance for the week." Icy eyes stared at the black chair in front with attentiveness.  Slowly the object turned to reveal the person she listened to without a question of doubt, Ryan Solmen. His dark features made his gaze on her even more chilling.  Carefully he placed the file he had been reading on the table, his hands interlocking before responding, "Well?" Ally made sure to keep the emotions out from the forefront of her orbs, "She's holding back. Her capabilities are more than what she has been showing us.  The things that she used to do when she was a child." Ally quickly looked at the ground but returned them to Ryan just as fast, "She no longer does them."   Ryan squeezed his hands to release some frustration if this was good news or something much worse. He was uncertain. The pressure he was under from his superior kept a constant knife in his back.  "Where is she now?" His question caught the female off guard, her stutters causing the dip of dark brows, "She should be in her room. That's the direction I saw her walk before I left the practice area."  Ryan lowered his eyes and pushed the chair back, getting ready to stand up. "Terra's missing!" The male nearly fell over due to the interruption. His hold on the arm of the seat was the only thing holding him up.  "What do you mean she's missing Nora!" Ryan hissed, spit flying out. The elderly's grey-blue eyes nervously fluttered this way and that as she fiddled with her tan fingers.  Ally took a step towards the Hispanic woman, ready to protect her if needed. "Her room was empty when I went to give her the weekly dose. I searched. She's not here."  "Why are you just standing around?! Ally, find her and bring her back!" The youngest nodded, gave the person who raised her a look and ran out the room.
