Caution to the wind

Mabel I closed my eyes and felt the wind on my face and through my hair. My hands were wrapped tightly around Slade's torso who was focused on the road. I opened my eyes to see his hair blowing in the direction of the wind and his shirt flaring. He offered me his leather jacket to put in since it was a chilly night but my legs were feeling the temperature. I can't complain though because he sacrificed to help me escape the suffocating hall fool of pretentious, entitled, and annoying people. I couldn't stand to be there anymore. I would have gladly slept the night away. I was enjoying the ride and I missed being myself. I have to pretend so I don't attract unwanted attention to myself. We drove for a while. I didn't even know where we were going and I didn't even care as long as I am out
