THE ORPHAN

CHAPTER ONE

It was 2:45am,the scary lonely road was all on its own. I was kept inside a cradle covered with a blanket beside the roadside by only God knows who. I was spotted by two unknown people who saw me beside the roadside. "what a world!",the first man in red shirt exclaimed. "a small baby all alone out here in this cradle!?" The second man with a cap said.

"What should we do!? They asked each other. He looks so innocent but yet in pain,he said.

"Which mother is responsible for this carelessness!" He asked rhetorically. Only God knows man.

"Right now,I don't have any idea on what to do with this baby." Hold on! "We can't just leave him here all alone,the man other man said." "Besides, it's really dangerous out here man!Let's think of something then." The police won't be of help I guess. "That's it!" One of them exclaimed. "What!!? The other man asked curiously. "There's an orphanage home ahead of us",said the man. Okay...! So?? He asked weirdly. "So..,we take him there!" He answered happily.

Just then,I was picked up from the roadside along with my cradle and blanket. One of them was holding me while the other man carried the cradle.

After a walk,behold! We were standing in front of big orphanage home, Katherine Hepburn's Home. So uhm..are we gonna just leave him here or knock at the gate that looks like an armoured tank. One of them asked. Why are you so dumb!?,the man asked. He then picked up a stone besides home and knocked so heavily but yet there's no response yet. "could they be asleep!? Like obviously,I know they are. Well I guess so too,the man answered. I think we're just gonna drop this boy here. But,why in the world is he black!?,the man asked surprisingly. Woah! This is crazy bro. But anyways, let's drop him here. They dropped him besides the wall,well covered and rested. Hang on! What's this black dot below his ear?,he asked. Maybe that's how the black's skin is(laughs). You must be crazy,the other man answered furiously. We're going now kid,I hope we meet one day again.

They both left me outside the gate but beside the wall where I won't be spotted easily. But,I was glad they did so. At least,I know I was rescued from thousand animals out there.

After a long wait, nobody still came out. What will happen to me now? Who would come for my rescue!?
