"Miss Gift!" Nathaniel's voice pulled me from my thoughts. I turned to my left and saw him shaking my hand, worry and fear etched on his young face. His eyes told me he had been trying to get my attention for a while.

My pups must have gone through a lot and their father was there but the man was dumb not to see what was happening to his pups.
I nodded then leaned to his height.
