As soon as I arrived, my mom started smothering me. She asked many questions about Derek and I's relationship.
Most of them went unanswered because not even I know what we are. I found out through Josh that dad asked Derek to stay here, and that they were discussing things with Uncle Tony's.
Aunt Gianna came by and then took everyone out to her place to have dinner. When they finished, Derek was surprised to find everyone there.
I saw in his eyes that he was not planning to be away from me for long… but when uncle Tony called all the guys to the bar, he had to leave.
The attraction and connection between us is palpable, but neither of us is brave enough to make a solid move on it.
