I woke up to a tender patting on my head. I almost forgot where I was and what had happened. Being at Aunty Claudia and Uncle Lionel´s place was comforting, and having Uncle Pete cook dinner for us yesterday was reassuring.
I opened my eyes and I saw Josh kneeling next to the bed. “Hey, sleepy head… you made me worried sick.” He picked me up and hugged me. I burst out crying while holding my baby brother for comfort.
“Care to explain, what the hell happened?” Josh asked in a no-nonsense voice and I knew I had to come clean with my brother. It was embarrassing to confess that I was intimate with Brian and that I fell for his trap. At the same time having him know it was liberating. It was sharing my burden with someone that unconditionally will love and accept me,
