After leaving everything settled with Viv and the school, I decided to start packing my things. Everything around reminded me of the great times I had with Brian and my heart squeezed inside my chest. I promised myself that I would never fall for anyone´s tricks and promised myself to protect my heart.
As soon as I was alone inside my room, tears flooded my eyes. I am hurt, my heart is shattered in pieces, but for the sake of my family, I need to toughen up and show no emotions.
Josh went back to Aunt Claudia for a while, while I stayed behind packing. My brother wanted to stick by me for the whole thing, but I refused. I was tired of pretending to be fine because I needed some time to process everything. I need time and space, and I hope that staying close to Jewel will help
