“Did you know my aunt entered the last Luna Selection?” Leila asked when I remained silent. “Emilia Hart, that’s her name.”
The last Luna Selection should have been the one that King Theodore held—the one in which Claudia became the winner and was crowned queen. But that was all I knew about it. The Caddels hadn’t been involved in that Selection since all my aunts had already been married when King Theodore decided to take a queen.
