I stood up, legs steadying. I was no longer going to be weak and helpless. My father alaric entered my room, stopping right in front of me. No wasted time.
“You are going to shadowpack,” he stated simply. “Today.”
I narrowed my eyes at him. “Why send me there again?”
“Your place is with your mate,” he said. “And I need you there.”
“Need me for what?” I demanded.
