Amara’s POV
I woke before Caspian the next morning. I laid in the silence of the room, listening to the sound of his breathing and watching the ceiling for a few minutes. My heart ached with conflicting feelings over the events of last night.
For once, I had not spent a night thinking what he wanted from me. He had listened to me, and stopped, when I asked. It should not have been such a monumental relief, but it was.
I sat up, and found that Caspian was already awake. "You're a fast riser."He said with a yawn
