Betrayed
It was a cold, dark night. The sound of rain tapping against the window was the only sound in the room. A young girl, no more than sixteen years old, sat on the bed in her small apartment, staring at the ceiling. She was deep in thought, as she always was.
Her name is Su Mu, and she is an assassin. Not just any assassin, but one of the best in the business. She had been trained by the most skilled assassins in the world, and she had learned everything there was to know about the art of killing.
But tonight, her thoughts were not about killing. They were about her co-worker, Tuxie. Tuxie had been her partner for years, and she trusted him with her life. But recently, she had noticed that he had been acting strange. He was secretive, and he always seemed to be hiding something.
Su Mu knew that she had to find out what was going on. She couldn't afford to have any loose ends in her line of work. She decided to follow Tuxie the next day and see where he went.
The next day, Su Mu followed Tuxie to a secluded warehouse on the outskirts of the city. She watched from a distance as he met with a group of men she didn't recognize. They were all dressed in black, and they looked like they meant business.
Su Mu knew that this wasn't good. She had a feeling that Tuxie was up to something dangerous, and she had to find out what it was before it was too late.
She waited until Tuxie and the men had left, and then she snuck into the warehouse. She searched through the crates and boxes, looking for any clues as to what they were planning.
And then she found it. A piece of paper with a list of names on it. The names of her targets.
Su Mu couldn't believe it. Tuxie had betrayed her. He had sold her out to these men, and now they were going to kill her.
Su Mu knew that she had to act fast. She grabbed the list and ran out of the warehouse. She made her way back to her apartment, and she started packing her bags. She knew that she had to leave the city, and fast.
But as she was packing, she heard a knock at the door. She knew it was Tuxie. She grabbed her gun and slowly opened the door.
Tuxie stood there, holding a gun. "I'm sorry, Mu," he said. "But I had no choice."
Su Mu didn't say a word. She raised her gun and fired. Tuxie fell to the ground, dead.
Su Mu knew that she had to leave now, before the other men came for her. She grabbed her bags and ran out of the apartment, never looking back.
Su Mu spent the next few weeks on the run. She moved from city to city, never staying in one place for too long. She knew that she had to stay hidden, or the men who had targeted her would find her.
But then, something strange happened. She was walking down a dark alley in a small town when she suddenly felt a strange sensation. It was like she was being pulled in a million different directions at once.
And then, everything went black.
