“ I LIKE YOU AND I WANT TO MARRY YOU”these were the words coming from Maya. Three week ago, Noah had broken things off with Maya after all the years they spent together ;he did not just break up;he had moved on with a new girl Angela, who’s father is rich. This made Maya break down in tears ,her dad and best friend Scarlett was there to comfort her .Two weeks later, Scarlett suggested they go out to have some fun, so she does not keep broading over Noah for he is not worthy it. Maya accepted because she has just being sulking and this time Scarlett said “we are going to the VIP” with lots of excitement in her voice but Maya could only just smile but Scarllet understood her mood. Later that Friday night,they got to the lounge ,and settled in the VIP then placed their order. Maya was kind of sulking but after a cup of wine and the buzzing music her mood lightened up.Then Scarlett said “that’s my girlllll” while they both did their bestie hand sign Then Scarlett opted to use the restroom and Maya said she needed something strong and is going to meet the mixologist to make her something really strong. Getting there Maya requested for strong vodka with a chocolate scent ,in no time it was ready and she headed back to join Scarlett, while they sit to take some pictures and make videos ;a tall man walked in ,which she surprisingly recognized from a few pictures Noah had shown her while they were still together ;he was Levi Morgan the billionaire CEO of the Morgan’s group ,Noah’s favorite uncle. An idea suddenly popped in on Maya’s head to approach ,she said to Scarlett “if Noah can move on even before he left me ,so can I” and then Scarlett chuckled and said “Oh No is it what I’m thinking” Maya responded “hell yesssss ” “If he ditch me for someone else I will go for he’s billionaire uncle” ,aura for aura You will ? Maya stood up and confidently walks towards him ,she said “what is a fine CEO doing out alone on a Friday night ” ,Levi stirs at her and said “I’m not your target audience ” she instantly understood him and responded with “ I’m not a core girl ”. She asked why he is out alone ,he responded can’t a man be out by himself ,she smiled and requested for another glass , so she join him in wining ,while they got talking over drinks , he said it’s been a while he laughed this hard or had a good conversation because he’s family and society had been pressuring him over marriage ,and Maya said “at least you get to laugh tonight ”,he smiled and all of a sudden Maya said “I like you and I want to marry you”, Levi froze while the smile on he’s face faded. Before he could utter any word ,she said they could strike a deal just to get the press and society narratives off he’s back. He bluntly refused ,saying she’s too young ,Maya cuts in and says I’m a 23 years old college graduate and I’m not a kid .He still turns down her offer ,then she asked him to unlock and give he’s phone ,types her number, calls her number on he’s phone and says “think about it and call me when you come to a decision ”. And she leaves with Scarlett. Scarlett asked Maya to pass the night at her place ,and asks for the full gist Maya filled her in saying he refused her request to marry him and that she knows he will definitely give her a call ,and then Scarlett said girl where is this courage coming from and Maya replied “ maybe we should blame it on alcohol ” or maybe “I am crazy ” they both laughed. Meanwhile Levi’s head kept echoing all that Maya said till he slept off ,and when he got to the offices d after a few days he decided to call Maya and she said “I have been expecting your call, what took you this long ” . Meet me tomorrow morning by 10am at the country hall with your ID ,let’s get married . She immediately called Scarlett and said “ I told you he will call and accept my offer ”,girl you rock. She had gotten up early just to go pick up and outfit at the store ,and she headed to the country hall she got there in her stunning white dress ,Levi was waiting in the car and immediately he asked her to hop in the car then handed her a paper to go through the paper ,saying he has drafted a three years marriage contract for them and that she sees if she is fine with it ,Maya said “dear husband what could possibly be here that you cannot brief me ,you are too formal” he smiled and said “you always have a way of bringing out my teeth ” .He then fills her in that during their contract she can have her own relationship without letting it out to avoid any saga that can put he’s reputation on the edge ,they have to be loved up in public and front of family ,they have to take pictures at the country hall to make it believable ,also that she will move in with him and lastly he will pay her one million dollars when the contract expires .She agrees to all but only requests that while the contract Is on that her fathers rent and allowance be covered and Levi did not hesitate. They went in the hall , joined and married then lastly took pictures as evidence . Maya requested to go break the news to her father while she move in later that week ,Levi agreed. Its been Maya and her retired father since her mothers death and all this while her dad has always supported and stood by her .He has always believed in her judgement and decision because Maya was raised right ,and she has always been so smart since her teenage days . She got home , summoned her dad to have a discussion with him “ dad I am married “ ,Maya said to her dad bluntly .
