A week goes by and not a sign of Orion. It didn't bother me until another went by and there was still no sign of him. I would usually feel him even if he wasn’t close— if he was just looking from somewhere, but it seems after Dax’s visit, Orion has done everything in his power to avoid me.
I went through all my schedules without ever seeing him, doing my training in the morning and attending long meetings in the afternoon. He never showed. Not even a glimpse of those green eyes.
It was bothering me more than it should.
I tried once to go to his room… I chickened out and ran faster than I had ever ran before. Then there was another time when I walked up the outpost— I even knocked and pushed the door open but he wasn’t there.
