Chapter twenty four: I should warn her

484 Words
The ground shook. It has been shaking for most of the time. Yet, this time, it was more violent. Silver Cassano heard the gurgling sound of the sky. As he look at his back, his eyes widened with the big formation of pink cloud in the sky. It was a cumulunimbus cloud. A large formation of dangerous cloud, too dense that the bottom part of it was already dark and heavy. Then the zapping of the thunder. One huge and strong streak of thunder hitting the ground, causing more tremble. It was Yohanna's skill. It was amazingly powerful for a woman as clumsy as she is. He doubted if it was made by a clone. He never knew. Yet, he can finally see the pattern of attacks for the clones—a clue to distinguish them as fake or not. The fake Lukas who almost killed ham had managed to identify him as the real Silver. It was because he showed amazing form of skill combinations that the clones cannot execute. Then if that powerful attack was made by the real Yohanna, she would be probably at the brink of danger. I should warn her, he thought. He didn't have to force himself to go there, however. Because as he was distracted with the powerful skill that shook the whole battle stage, a furry yet strong kick had collided his chest, pushing him in a strong force going to the direction of where the giant cloud had appeared. His chest pounded pain as the force of kick made him flew. Following him, flying with the cloud, was Yohanna's figure—this time, he knew its real identity. She was the one who kicked him hard. She was the one who suddenly shifted from a clone of Silver—of himself. She was the mythical item: The Gorgon's head. He wanted to move his body. He wanted to stop the force from the kicking. But he cannot, for the force of the Gorgon's head was too powerful. She is a fast creature as well. Before Silver knew, she managed to keep at the speed of his unwillingly moving body. As she did, the cloud she was riding had disappeared in her feet. She let her body fall towards him, then made another forceful arc of kick. He kissed the ground—with special addition of force and breaking of the marbled stage. He then grunted. He was sure he had a broken bone. Yet, he continued to stand. “I will definitely get you, Gorgon’s head,” he said as he slowly stood, shaking. As he look at the surrounding, he saw three Yohanna. One is with a shocked expression, one is fierce and smirking arrogantly, one is frightened and shaking. “s**t,” he whispered to himself. “How would I be able to identify which Yohanna was I looking for?”
