"so are we really moving mom?"I said more to myself than my mom"yes darling we are and that is final"mom said and walked into her room.I sat on the sofa looking around so we were leaving again. ..........well before we continue let's start with a little introduction..... My name is Amanda Steven,I am Nigerian because my dad was Nigerian while my mom is from the us.yes you might me wondering why I spoke about my dad in the past,well we lost him to the cold hands of dead when I was just 8.Since then it hasn't been quite easy with my mom,I have never gone to Nigeria being born in the states and I barely know anyone from my paternal family.As I was saying my mom worked as a manager in a company and her job required her moving from place to place.so yes changing towns was almost part of my life and we barely just settled in Chicago and now we are moving to New York.Am not a type of person that socialiases easily and it took almost one month for me to make friends and now we are moving.Well I have accepted my fate to make my mom happy after all without her they would be no melol. ************ "So what do you think of our new house"mom said looking at me,we had just arrived in New York.I looked around the house,it was a small house with a parlor,a small kitchen and dining room with 2 bedrooms."it's okay mom"i said smiling,that's good now go and unpack remember you start school tomorrow and I start work tomorrow "ok mom I said and went upstairs"I hope tomorrow Will be a great day "I said as I went to bed that night. ************ "bye baby be a good girl "mom said as she drove off after dropping me at school.i turned to look at the giant building in front of me ,in all my life I had never attended such a big school I turned to look around and everybody seemed to be busy talking to each other and laughing as it was the beginning of a new session.I summoned a little courage and marched inside the hall ways when I got there I located the admin office with the help of no one then I met the admission officer.Did I forget to say that this was meant to be my last year in highschool.I was allocated a class and I moved immediately to my class and when I got there most people were already sitted in class so I just walked up to the teacher there "good morning"I said to the teacher she looked like a woman in her early 40's "good morning my dear how many i help you?"she said with a smile "am a new student" "oh in that case why don't you introduce yourself to us,class pay attention she said and all eyes we on me I was so shy,scared let's say I was shy scared and I almost peeped in my panties but again I summoned the courage and spoke "hi everyone am Amanda Steven and am a new student "I said and some people muttered some welcome while the rest went back to what they were doing"welcome Amanda I am miss carley your teacher you may seat "thank you I said and sat on the available chair there not long after I sat two people approached me a boy and a girl,the girl was so pretty and the boy was indeed handsome "hi Amanda am Allison and this is Andrew"the pretty girl said smiling while the boy waved "hi" I said smiling and they sat beside me we spoke and they also told me some things I needed to know.we had three classes for the day and we were finally done I was arranging my locker when a trio of girls walked past of cause high school was never complete without a particular trio of hot,rude,proud girls and trust me all my life I have tried my best to stay away from the."ugggghh those girls piss me off"Allison said with digust written all over their face "who are they?"I asked quietly "ohhh those are Emily,Ember and Charlotte hmmm the meanest girls in school and they are in our class."Andrew explained"Emily pisses me off the most she thinks that she is above every one just becouse she is dating Felix Mason"Allison said with a very funny face "who is that?"i asked again"oh Felix my man could be seen as one of those guys that ladies fall for just like me"Andrew explained"shut up "Allison said hitting him on the chest playfully.It was finally time to go and we left after bidding each other farewell.I couldn't believe I made friends on my first day....
