I dropped my plate in the sink after finishing a very hearty breakfast. At least that was how I felt. This is the first time in years that mama and I are in the same room without having another quarrel. The house seemed calm and peaceful for once while we were in it.
I washed the dishes in the sink and quickly cleaned the table.
I have having one of those moments when you are washing the dishes and you're at the same time thinking about stuffs. Only this time, I was thinking about the past.
I must have put mama through a lot over the years. After drying and storing the dishes, I poured myself some more orange juice and joined mama on the couch in the living room.
