"I have only one regret, Rosa Mendez. I regret not completing my plans before Norman arrived. You leave your house whenever you're upset to go to the Old creek to swim. It's evident that whenever your mum is at home with you, you always have a quarrel and that's when you go there. I saw you on my way coming from a party that night and I followed you. I saw you strip naked and go for a swim. I watched closely. I allowed you to get dressed because I wanted to undress you myself when we got back together. I brought a baseball bat with me as a plan B. We talked and I even told you that I loved you, but you rejected my love, you pushed me away. You started running and I ran after you.
