Rudi woke confused and disorientated. It took a while for him to get his bearings on what had happened. Looking around him, he blinked a few times before he realized the problem; his vision seemed to have changed. Even more confused now that he's realizing that his current surroundings made even less sense than before, he tried to struggle upright.
"Whoa there a moment."
A firm hand pushed him slowly back on to the bed. For a moment, strange emotions of anger and confinement combined with feeling severely threatened by an unknown, had him whipping around with a harsh growl escaping him. Then, his eyes met the golden ones of the man he knew to have been with him. "Aadev?"
"Ja, it's me. Look, just relax, okay? We're going to talk about everything in a minute, but I need you to lay down
