Alex's POV
The journey takes me eight good hours, I arrive at Eldoret town at around 4:00 AM. It is quite early but the town is alive. I am always afraid of new places so I ask the driver to let me stay in the bus till 6:00 AM, he agrees.
I am guarding my property with my life because its all I got. I stay at the window so I could see the view. Its amazing how people are up and running with their businesses. There is hawkers hawking breakfast: tea, sweet potatoes, yams, others are selling boiled eggs, sausages and boiled maize. My stomach rumbles at the sight of boiled maize. I love them so much but I am afraid to buy though, I don't want people to see the little money I have, I don't want to attract thieves. The place is very chilly, I thank my mum for parking warm clothes for me.
