Renewal, Rebirth, and Destruction. The Phoenix spirit was born many eons ago. It was past down from generation to generation from male to male when the time came. Alexander's father would tell him stories about how he became the phoenix king and what that meant. It was a terrifying tale to tell a child but he had to prepare his son at an early age. To become the Phoenix king you had to kill the current one and let the Phoenix spirit flow from the old king to the new one. Each king knew when his time was coming to an end. Even if you could be reborn over and over again at one point you do sense the time has come to pass on the spirit and move on to your next life. Alexander was always told he would be king one day and that he would have to kill his own father to do so. This wasn't something he grew up dreading for he knew it was all apart of the grand design. He had a normal upbringing and many trusted advisors who taught him and helped him become a great king. Alexander met Maze before he was king and when Alexander had just entered the spirit temple to learn how to use his powers. Being born as the future phoenix king meant you already had it in your blood to control all three spirits. It actually didn't come easy to Alexander and he took longer than expected and longer than past phoenix kings to learn his abilities. He finally did learn and then a few more years past and he had to do the deed. As soon as the phoenix king dies his wife throws herself in the flames so she can die along with him. They lived a long life together it seems only fitting to end it together as well. So the day he killed his father he also lost his mother. Alexander's first life was normal, calm and easy. He was young and handsome so people were hopeful and loved their king as they did his father. It was kind of funny the only reason he died that time was because he was flying to close to a supernova and it caused his ship to explode along with him. His second life was much more chaotic. He had numerous concubines and was trying to live life to the extreme. I guess after you die once you realize there is much to live for. This life was definitely not the life he was looking to settle down or be calm. He stupidly died after drinking too much neso. He fell off the palace hill. Some say he was even dizzy when he was reborn. Neso is the strongest drink they have in Callisto. By his third life, a short war had broken out on one of the planets in his galaxy. He died fighting the last battle and winning the war for his people.

His next life was also a bit more chaotic. There were assignation attempts and he had to guard himself more than usual. He took in one more concubine and she was ordered to kill him so when she did and he was reborn he decided to not let anyone get to close to him and look for the right person to be his Queen. So on his fifth life, he had a small council and only one advisor. Maze was the only one he truly confided in. He was more careful to protect this life. It took him several years to find Selene.

 One day Maze told Alexander about the discovery of a trinity spirit at the temple. Everyone in his council was astonished and excited. Trinity spirits were just as rare as Phoenix spirits but unlike there only being able to be one phoenix king there could be many trinity spirits. Unfortunately, there hasn't been a trinity spirit for over a hundred years so the discovery of Selene was not only astonishing but it was important. Of course, she was the perfect candidate for Queen. Alexander and Maze both traveled to the spirit temple to meet Selene. Alexander fell head over heels for her the moment he saw her. She, on the other hand, did not.

Alexander was used to getting everything so when Selene showed no interest he was concerned. Alexander was arrogant and conceited. She refused to awaken her last spirit so she would not be looked at as the trinity spirit and hoping that would cause Alexander to look elsewhere for a queen. Cloud, her closest and her only friend even challenged Alexander to a duel. If Cloud won he would leave the temple and never bother Selene again. Maze and everyone else thought this was pointless. They knew no one could ever beat Alexander but he looked at it like a kind trustworthy friend who deserved to prove himself. Selene didn't want Cloud to fight the king but it was already decided. The fight was over in six minutes. Cloud lost but Selene could tell Alexander hardly used any real force and never once used any of his spirit powers. She was still scared but decided to go with him. She knew that as a trinity spirit she would be a part of his council no matter what. So she decided to go and let time tell whether they would ever be more.

Selene slowly started to notice small wonderful traits and that the king was a decent man. Selene and Alexander trained every morning. Not much was learned since they had become closer and enjoyed pinning each other to the ground. After Cloud's time at the temple ended, Alexander offered him to stay at the palace as Selene's first guard. Selene was pleased with this and that made their connection stronger. Maze noticed his king become a true man and ready to be the best king Callisto has ever had. Alexander had found his queen. I think many started to think maybe it wasn't the best thing for him to find Selene. Only because they made love every day and every night. Sometimes the ground would shake when they made love. When they kissed for too long, electricity and sparks would surround them. They were stronger together and the galaxy knew it. They were a force not to be messed with.

Sadly, another war was about to break out on a small planet near Callisto. Many began to rebel the phoenix king and his soon to be queen. Many believed that marrying the trinity spirit would strengthen the king to a level of a god and some were afraid of that. Alexander and Selene went to keep the peace on the small planet but the rebels began to attack as soon as they arrived. Selene noticed a child that was about to be caught in the crossfire. She ran to cover him but Alexander noticed and ran to them both. He pushed them out of the way but was hit was a fireball. Maze and Cloud arrived and took Alexander and Selene back to Callisto. Alexander was dying so they took him to the spirit temple. Selene gave him one last kiss before he was to be reborn. When they came back to check to see if he had been reborn yet. He was gone. Selene looked everywhere and demanded the entire planet to be searched. Most of the council told her to accept he had been lost and was most likely never going to be found again. War finally broke out throughout the galaxy and without a king, no peace could be formed. Selene never gave up her search and she finally found her king on a faraway planet... called EARTH.
