A minute before the next siren goes off at the two-hour mark, Headmaster Higgins calls me and Tyler over to take our places. It’s our turn next. "I would say good luck, but you don't need it. It's time to win this," Alex says, making me smile. "Thank you," I answer, and give him a quick kiss. I walked over to Tyler and hugged him before I took my position.
As soon as the siren goes off, we both take off running. This trial is timed, so speed is your best bet. When I enter, my terrain looks like a creepy forest at nighttime.
