“Any updates?” Alex asked the minute we saw Chuck and his mom. I hug his mom, and she holds me tightly. She looks visibly upset and worried about her friend. “They are still busy with Sylvia. She is the worst off. Her werewolf healing isn't kicking in. The man is stable, but they will keep him asleep for now, so his wolf can heal him faster,” Chuck answers.
“I wonder why Sylvia’s wolf isn't healing her? I wish I knew what happened to her, but we will just have to wait for them to wake.” Alex said, just as Sandra came walking out looking very sullen. “How is she?” Alex asked immediately. “I did my best, but something is wrong with her wolf.” Sandra says, and then she turns, and sees me and her face lights up.
