Until I Met Him

Ria's POV It was 7:00 and I was done getting prepared for work, fully dressed in my black suit and trouser, a mere look at me, one would feel the aura of a business tycoon.. I stood in front of the mirror admiring my beauty, the gold necklace and ear ring really adorned my face, i looked so classy and sophisticated, i can't help but smirk at myself.. My phone rang that moment and I smiled seeing it was my Dad, the only man I love, mom is dead and he is the only one I got, I knew nothing much about my mother because she died when I was little.. Growing up with my dad alone made me who I am, I was forced to be that business freak, all I am good at is setting strategies and making strict rules for my company... People talk about love or romance and I feels like throwing up, those words look so useless to me, I hate love because it makes one weak, it gives people the power to hurt you... My Dad handed one of his company to me when I was just 18 and since then, I had taken care of it, I put all I got in it and right now, it is one of the top ranked... "Hello Dad..good morning.." I chirped into the phone immediately i clicked the green button... "Just wanna check out for my princess, i hope you slept well?" He asked with a cheerful voice as usual... I can sense the huge smiles which would be on his face right now.. "Dad, your princess is all good and already prepared to do what she is best at...I'm heading to the company.." I smiled.. "Alright dear, I won't hold you back, just don't over stress your self, find time to relax and most importantly, find a man to hook...... I couldn't hear the rest of his words because I don't want to hear it, before he would finish those annoying part, I cut the call.. I don't know why my dad won't make a conversation with me without adding hooking up a man at the end.. It pisses me off... The last thing I thinks of now is falling in love or having any crazy relationship, I can't help but wonder how I would have to stoop so low to a man...if there would be any, then he would be very much richer and powerful than me, I haven't found any yet... It is close to impossible, out there in the company, I'm being feared, all the workers dreads my presence because I don't seem to understand what mercy is.. Yeah.. I don't pity anyone who fails, you would be fired immediately!!.. You may not know but I'm heartless, I'm cold hearted when it comes to business!! All workers has to abide to the rules without flaws - I dropped my phone and glanced at the mirror the last time primping myself before heading downstairs.. My name is Ria and I am that young beautiful millionaire you would really admire and pray to be like, all i got is the mind of business - my company, I don't joke with it, I lack nothing, got everything to enjoy life... The only problem right now is finding more competent men and women to add into my company, there is no room for laziness or being timid, you got to be very smart and proactive... Every day, I look forward to more workers, I won't wait to hit or slap for any slight mistake, I have no pity on them..why should I?? I'm the boss and you are the worker!! The fact that you eat from my pocket makes you incompetent, I sees you as a misfortune human... You got to work more harder to worth the pay! On reaching the sitting room, I head to the dinning table to munch few crunches... You may think there isn't any maid in the house, hell no!..there are six of them but they dare not show their face without me calling them, I don't mind breaking their head... They are too poor to stand in front of me without reasons, I'm not even happy that they had to live in this millions of dollars mansion.. What a luck for them!! I munched few biscuits before heading out, I don't eat in the morning, I need to be free for work.. Immediately my gateman saw me walk out of the porch, he ran speedily to open the gate, he knows what would happen to him if he waste a seconds.. I hates lazy people!! My driver also sped into the car to avoid my trouble.. Hopping into my white flashy limousine, he drove me off to my company which can be called the biggest and most reputable, a company that feeds over hundred workers, a company every living creature wants to work in because of the huge pay.. Well..you can be a worker there but it takes a lot, are you ready for me??? Are you ready for my slaps?? If you are, then wait for the next recruit because many are leaving... That's me the boss..I don't take s**t!! After a short drive, we got to the building... My driver hooted thrice before the gate was opened by the gatekeeper, can you imagine??? Oh, gosh!!..what if It was a client, is this how they would be kept waiting??? What the hell!!!! "Hey, you are fired!!!!" I flared just as I stepped down.. I could see the shock stare of the gatekeeper as he tried saying something, his face is unfamiliar, he must be newly recruited and ignorant of how my company goes... "Ma'am, are you serious??"he asked with a raised brow full of surprise.. "How dare you allow my car to stay that long before you would open the gate!!?" I growled while he bowed... What the heck!!! "Please ma'am, I...am..sorry..I was about..."  "Shut up!!!" I screamed with a slap on his cheek as I stared at him in disgust, can't believe a young man like him would be lazy.. You can't tell how angry I am now.. "This should be the very last time I'll see you around this place!!" I huffed before stomping in.. All these workers would never seize to spoil my mood.. Yuck!! ********** The once lively building with everyone chatting and working happily suddenly turned into a graveyard as I stepped my feet in... Everyone halt their work and bow in greetings anytime I passes by, you can't tell the stern look all over my face as I catwalked to my office with two of my security men flanking me... My PA also followed behind... I got to my already cleaned and arranged office.. "Replace that gateman!" I ordered my PA immediately I sat on the swivel chair.. "Okay ma'am.." He bowed before leaving without any other word.. The guards stood outside.. Just few seconds after settling for business, a knock sounded on my door, I rolled my eyes and kept silent leaving that person out there for some minutes... "Come in!" I snapped and the door opened.. It was my new secretary, she walked in with me sneering at her.. "Boss, the son of Xavier is here to see you" she announced bowing low.. "And you met him with this kind of dress???" I seethed staring at her skirt which was above her knees.. "Ma'am.. I.." She couldn't finish her words before I slapped her so hardly that spittle spurt off.. "I'm sorry" she whimpered "You are sorry??..there is no need apologizing, you are off!!" I yelled and she stared at me in shock.. "But...I just got this job last week.." She cried "That's why you didn't know how your skirt should be, Xavier's son is my major client, he just saw you this way, what would he think??..are you here to seduce men!!!!" I barked leaving her trembling.. "Please I'm very sorry, I have no other work to do.." She sobbed kneeling before me.. I scoffed and turned to leave when she just did that thing which I detest so much.. She held my legs... What??? "Guards!!!.." I called out and they both rushed in.. "Take her away from here right now, she is fired!!..the PA should hand the file to her!" I snorted making her cry the more,  Shit!!! If only she knew those crying makes thing worse... I hate weak people who cries, if she wants my pity from crying then she got it all wrong!!
