The Scared Beauty and Her Determined Beasts

Quite some time had passed, as Scarlet walked, when her Little Fuzzball started to stir. So, she decided that it was time for Lunch, since she was a bit hungry anyway. “It’s better to stop and make my Sweet Baby something; I can make myself some Lunch as well.” Scarlet thought to herself.

Putting some feelers out with her Energy, Scarlet found that there was a Small Lake nearby, and despite all that had happened, it was still a beautiful day.

So, Scarlet decided to make a pit stop by the Small Lake that she found, and she could take the chance to check on the Sweetest Little Fuzzball in the whole world. “He had a Very Tiring day after all, and because of that he deserved to be treated like a King. Especially after he was abandoned, got adopted by a Stranger, and not having Real Milk to drink. It is a tiring day for my Little Man indeed.” She thought as she made her way to her next stop.

Sitting by the Small Lake was very Peaceful and Relaxing, especially after the way her day started out.

Everything was coming together nicely with Lunch and the baby’s meal was about to be finished as well. Since Scarlet’s food still needed a little bit more time, she decided to start feeding him First.

It was then that Scarlet had heard something close behind her in the woods. Putting her guard up, she got the Little Fuzzball in a Safe Spot and was ready for anything.

But when she saw who it was, she found that she was ready for anyone, Except ‘HIM’!!

“Kitty?!”

“What are you doing here? I thought that you were off somewhere doing your own thing.” Scarlet never expected to see him again after her Last Escape.

He was Here!

Of all the places and many Miles that she had put between them, she even went in a different direction for half a Week. Yet he had still found her.

The only question that was running through her head was “HOW THE H*LL DID HE DO IT?!!”’

Travis just stared at her for the longest time before he answered, “I was on my way to a Big Village near here called ‘Green Rock Mountain City.’ I was close to it when I heard about a group of Males came in with a Female that had just given birth in the Woods. They said a Wild Red-Eyed Female had stolen One of the Pups. I figured that it was you, and that they were lying about you steeling the Young.”

But as he watched Scarlet pull the newborn Pup Scarlet out from a hole in a tree. He raised his brow and said, “So, could you please tell me what happened?”

Scarlet gave him a Dull Look and said, “Come sit, I don’t make much in terms of Lunch, but you can have some.” Taking a deep breath, she made a bowl of food and handed it to him as she started telling the story.

“I came across them when I was moving. She and the Pups were going to die, so I helped her to deliver the babies. The Last One needed some help to live, and since she saw that as Weakness, she wanted to leave him for dead.” Taking a breath to keep her Emotions in check.

Scarlet continued, “Since she was going to just throw him away, I took him as payment for the work I did. I bet they took her to a Doctor in the Big Village, and not doing as I instructed.”

With a snort she finished, “She will be dead within the Week without proper care. That Horrible Female should be in so much pain right now. She deserves every bit of it too, with the way she treats her own flesh and blood. This was her Strongest Pup too; and now he’s All Mine! Hahahaha!”

She laughed as she took hold of her Little Fuzzball and gave him some Love. Scarlet felt better knowing that even though she is not his biological parent, she would Love and Care for him his Whole Life. She will give him everything that she can, and he will grow to be big and Strong.

As Travis looked at His Little Female holding that Tiny Wolf Pup. She looked so happy that he felt like his heart was about to burst open with love.

He couldn’t stop himself from imagining her holding One of Their Cubs and smiling at them like that with all that Love in her eyes.

Travis knew there had to be more to the story than what the others had said. He knew that what they said would be Impossible. His Female would never do something like that. They must have been Angry at her for whatever reason they had and made up a story to try and hurt her.

As he looked at the food, she had given him, he could not help but think that there was Not Enough and that she should eat her food herself. He took the bowl that she made for him and said, “Thank you, but I have already hunted and eaten. I’m not hungry, you can eat this food too.”

Giving him a knowing look, she said, “I can tell that you are Lying and that you would like to eat some. I am fine with sharing. I will need to feed him again after a short while and when that happens, I can just make more for myself then. That is Your Food in Your Bowl and You need to eat it.”

Since she was not going to be moved on this, he took the bowl back and began to eat. After a moment, Travis noticed that Scarlet had not started to eat, but instead started feeding her Pup. He put is bowl down and said, “Here I can do that, and you can eat.”

Looking at Travis she felt the Familiar Ach in her chest again, but as before she pushed it off to the side and said, “No, thank you, he is my responsibility, and I shall take care of him.”

This didn’t sit well with Travis, and so he got up, moved to her side, took up her food bowl and said, “If you won’t eat on your own, then I will feed you. It is in your bowl and like you said, ‘you need to eat it.’ Now open please.”

Hearing this, Scarlet was shocked and didn’t really know what to do. The weird thing was she kind of wanted him to feed her.

She stared at Travis for a long time before she looked down and noticed that he had a spoon full of food in front of her face. He said, “Just open, and you can still feed him. The faster you eat and take care of him, the faster it is that you can get back on your way. There is a group of Males from the ‘Green Rock Mountain City’ looking for you to take the Pup back and Kill You.”

Hearing this, Scarlet laughed and said, “It’s not the First Time that a Village wanted to Kill me for Baseless Reasons, and it won’t be the Last. Things like this are Normal for me, so I can handle them with ease. Thanks for the heads-up, though Kitty, it’s a big help.”

Then she opened her mouth and took the bite of food offered to her, but Travis just sat there frozen in place. When Scarlet was ready for the next bite she said, “Hey, Kitty, kick it in to gear.”

Hearing this, he didn’t understand what she was saying but instinctively started to feed her again before he understood what she meant. Her comment about being attacked by such a ‘Normal’ thing didn’t make Travis feel any better.

In fact, this news made him feel even worse about this whole situation though. Not understanding how people could treat a Female like this.

Such a Cute and Sweet Little Female should be worshiped, not hunted down like a pry. She should never have known pain or any type of suffering.

Travis felt like his chest was being crushed, and he couldn’t breathe. Next thing he knew was darkness enclosed in him.

When Travis finally started to come around, he saw a dark figure in front of him. As the figure came into focus, he saw that it was Scarlet, and she had a terrified look on her face.

Thinking that he was dreaming, he told her how he felt, because in a dream there was no reason to be afraid to tell the truth.

“I love you My Little Female. I will make sure that you are Never hurt Ever again. I will protect you Forever.” With that, he reached his hand out and cupped her tiny face in his huge palm; he noticed how real it felt. That was when his mind popped back online, and he realized that this was real and that this was not a dream.

His face became One of shock and realization, which made Scarlet laugh. Travis swore that he never heard anything like that pure and free sound and would love to always be able to hear it. He wished that he could be with His Sweet Little Female Forever and Always.

Scarlet held his head up and helped him drink some Water. After taking a few sips of it, he started to realize that everything that he had just said and had really happen, and now he didn’t know what to do with himself.

Scarlet used some of her Energy to lift the ground beneath him to sit him up. She looked at him and said, “I’m sorry, but like I said before. I don’t plan on being with anyone. If not for my New Little Fuzzball here, I would still be on a Solo trip. Too many people have claimed that they would Never Hurt me; then they tried to either kill me or hand me over to someone that would try. After Lunch I will be leaving on my own again.”

She handed him back the bowl, and they finished eating in silence. She had a sad look on her face as she ate, and he let it drop for now and quietly ate his food.

After lunch, he still couldn’t think of any way that he could prove to her that he would never hurt her. He never wanted to be without her, to always keep her safe.

Even when he was helping her clean up after, he still couldn’t come up with anything.

As she was about to leave him again, he still had nothing that could convince her to let him go with her. As she started to say goodbye there was a Loud Ruckus, and it was heading towards them.
