The Scared Beauty and Her Determined Beasts

As soon as Scarlet walked into the makeshift camp there were a LOT of Huge Males. There were a lot more than she felt comfortable being around, but it was not enough to make her feel any fear.

When Young Chef Josh saw Scarlet looking around, he thought that she might have just been scared and tried to comfort her by saying, “There is no reason to worry. My people won’t hurt you because you are My Female and are safe with Me.”

Scarlet didn’t bother to look at him and said bluntly, “I am NOT Your Female, and I am NOT scared. I came here just for the plant, and then I will be leaving.”

Hearing this didn’t make him happy, but what made things worse was that the group of Males that Scarlet came across earlier ran up to them.

The One that Scarlet had knocked out said, “Young Chef Josh, this is the Strange Female that we told you about!” Thrusting his finger at Scarlet, he said, “This is the One that attacked us before.”

This got everyone’s attention. No One moved after they heard what the Dragon Male said.

Scarlet stood there ready for anything to happen when Young Chef Josh began to laugh. Thus, causing a chain reaction of laughter from everyone in the camp. He said, “How could such a Young and Tiny Female cause that much damage to One of my Strongest Worriers? That has to be the most ridiculous thing that I have ever heard. Something like that could never happen.”

Scarlet was getting aggravated with all the chit-chat and just wanted to move things along. Walking up to the Young Weak Male, she asked if he could continue to lead the way.

Young Chef Josh was not happy about the Female he claimed as his, was talking to another Male. A Male that was nothing but a No Banded Weakling.

He couldn’t believe that he had been slapped in the face Twice now by this Weakling. He couldn’t take the humiliation from it and went to attack him.

Since Scarlet still needed him to take her to the plant, she couldn’t just sit by and allow him to get hurt. He was also the only One in the group that had not made her angry.

So, she stopped Young Chef Josh by grabbing his arm and saying in a cold voice, “I need that plant.”

He calmed down instantly like a bucket of cold Water was poured on his head. The incident was over before anything even started, and they made their way to the place she was most excited to see.

It was a huge cave that was completely covered in that Special Plant. Off to the side there were some Males that looked like they had been beaten to a pulp.

She made her way over and did a quick scan of the more critical looking Ones.

There was nothing that a good cleaning and rest wouldn’t cure. So, she straightened back up and pointed in the direction of the Stream and said, “Go to the stream and clean your wounds in the Water. If you want to keep your injured limbs from getting infected, that is.”

The Young Chef was shocked to hear this, along with all the other Males. Young Chef Josh looked at her with a huge smile on his face and said, “My Young Mate is also a Doctor? This is a happy surprise.”

“Man, this Male was a slow learner. Apparently, I needed to school him on what it means to lesson properly.” Scarlet thought to herself.

Turning to him, she said “I am NOT Your Mate, and I am not a Doctor. I am an Alchemist Only here for the Plant. If you can’t keep that strait, then I will beat it into you.” With that said she proceeded to head towards the plant, which was the only reason that she came here in the First place.

“Once I have the seeds of this plant, I can leave this stupid active area, and continue on my way.” She thought to herself.

Young Chef Josh didn’t like being told off, and he watched as Scarlet made her way to the cave that had thrashed his Warriors so badly. The Young Weak Male, on the other hand, was worried about her getting hurt and went up to try to stop her but was stopped by the Young Chef Josh.

He wanted to teach her a lesson so that she would learn that she couldn’t talk to him like that. He wanted her to suffer and realize that she was no match for the world alone and would need him to be there to protect her.

When Scarlet walked up to the cave though, all she did was smile at the plant and ask for some seeds in French. The plant extended a bud and shook some seeds into her hand, completely shocking everyone. When she packed the seeds away safely, she turned to leave.

Of course, when she turned around all she saw were a bunch of shocked faces, and she proceeded to just walk out and pass right by everyone without a word. Scarlet was beginning to be annoyed with all the Shocked Expressions that she had been getting lately, it was really making her miss the Sneers and Disgusted Looks she had always received growing up.

Add the Young Chef Josh’s advances on top of that, and it made Scarlet had really missed the m*rder attempts. Scarlet was so annoyed she just couldn’t deal with it anymore and slipped up saying, “Why is everyone on this Land so weird?” Then proceeded to walk out of the camp to get way from away from all these Ridiculous Males.

“I can’t believe I just said that. That was so stupid. I’m a mother now. I need to be more careful in the Future.” Scarlet was berating herself when the Young Weak Male that led the way to the plant earlier dropped to his knees and said, “Are you the Great Spirit of this Forest?”

Scarlet stopped dead in her tracks and slowly turned back towards him. With the look on his face, all she could do was laugh.

She didn’t know why, but it was just the most adorable thing to say, and it put her in a much better mood. Before she knew it, Scarlet found herself walking towards him, before she realized it, she was face to face with him. She said, “I’m just a Human Alchemist from across the Ocean and ended up here by mistake. Before I leave, I’ll help you out because you put me in a Better Mood.”

With that said she shrugged off her backpack and scrounged around grabbing some Painkillers and something to help him relax. When she handed them to him, she instructed him to eat them right away. As he chewed and swallowed, Scarlet gave him a cup with a few sips of Water in it to help him wash it all down.

Next, she gave him the thickest strip of lather, saying, “Bite on this. What I’m going to do to you is not going to be easy, but it will be necessary. Your Energy is blocked, and since I’m not going to be sticking around, you will just be getting One treatment and get you unblocked in One blow.”

“So, just to recap, this will be Extremely Painful. I recommend you try Not to scream. For no other reason than not to be called a ‘Sissy.’ You may progress slowly at First, so just try to keep that in mind. Lots of Luck to you Fireball.”

With that, Scarlet hit him dead center in his chest and sent him flying back into the wall of strange plants, using her Energy to encircle him in a barrier, then give him another layer of protection from the plants, thinking that should be enough to protect him.

Once Scarlet felt comfortable leaving her Fireball behind, she went to turn and leave when she suddenly noticed that he really took what she said seriously. Not a single sound was coming from him.

Chuckling again, she said, “D*mn, Fireball can really keep his mouth shut. With all that I just unlocked; the Rocks should be shattering from his screams. With how much pain is currently coursing through his body right now.”

Young Chef Josh was so infuriated with what had just happened that he wanted to attack the Young Weak Male.

Charging towards him intending to kill him on the spot, Young Chef Josh was about to reach him, when he was suddenly hurled back about Thirty Yards right into a huge boulder. Shocking everyone but Scarlet.

After he made its impact, he slumped to the ground. The Air suddenly carried with it the Strong scent of Urine. Scarlet couldn’t help herself; she started laughing and thought, “Finally, this Young Chef has made me laugh. Of Course, it was at his own Expense.”

She turned to everyone and said, “My ‘Will’ shall never be broken.” Then she turned sharply on her heel and proceeded to walk off. None tried to stop her, and she was once again free to return to her journey.

As she left, Scarlet was plagued with the thought of that Young Weak Male she just helped. “This was the Second Male in this World to make me laugh so Happily in such a short amount of time. I also keep getting this strange Ach in my Chest. When I stop again, I need to do an assessment. Maybe I caught something here, or it could be the environment like something in the Air.”
