The Scared Beauty and Her Determined Beasts

Travis and Alex just watched her go in silence, and it wasn’t until One of the Males on the other side of the River said something that they even realized that they were even there.

When Travis met their eyes, he saw that their eyes were full of nothing but Hatred and Fear.

One of the Males said “What just happened? Who was that? And how did that Female just fly off like that?!”

Alex and Travis said simultaneously, “That’s My female!”

This brought on a whole new level of hatred for both of them. The other Males feared Scarlet and blamed them for her being in the area. Not caring about the group of Males or what they thought of him, Alex was the First to break off, saying to Travis, “I’m going to follow My Female, you can just get lost.”

With that, he started to slither down the cliff and go after Scarlet.

Travis couldn’t believe what this Unwanted was after His Female. He decided to go after her himself and make sure that Cobra stayed away from HIS Female.

They both left the small group of Males on the other side of the river without so much as an explanation of what had just happened. The Males were so stunned, that they just stood there looking at each other.

Since the Strange Female was gone and so were her Males, there wasn’t anything left that they could do. So, the group had no choice but go back to hunting, since they had nothing to do with what just happened.

When they got back to their Village, however, they asked around about the Mysterious Flying Female.

Meanwhile,

After Scarlet got into the Water, both Travis and Alex were still following her, and Alex was right on her tail, so to speak. She realized that she had to come up with something quickly. Once Riptide told her about the Waterfall up ahead, she knew then that she had an out.

She couldn’t hear what Travis was yelling at her, with the Water drowning everything out, but he sounded panicked.

When she heard different voices, she figured that Travis’ yelling must have drawn attention from the others in the woods.

“I’m almost there and once I reach it, I will be free. I just need to reach the Waterfall. Not too far now and I’ll be home free.” Scarlet just kept saying this to herself. When she made it to the crest of the Waterfall, she used her Energy to push herself with all she had to get as much Air as she could.

When she was at the peak of her jump, she opened the flaps on her and turned her outfit into a glider. From there she went off in a random direction so that if she was followed, she could still lose them when she landed and started on her journey again.

After flying for a few Miles, Scarlet started to get a weird feeling, so she darted for the ground and touched down in a Wooded area. After she landed, she put her mask on so that even if she was found they would hopefully just think that she was just another Male, and she could run for it.

Scarlet may be able to handle herself just fine in a fight, but after Ten Years of fighting for her life, if she could avoid the annoying and useless fights, she would.

There was no reason to fight unless it was something that she wanted too or needed too.

Looking around, she sent out her Energy to see what was around. Scarlet breathed a sigh of relief when she found that all seemed to be fine. She made sure that those Two Males didn’t follow her, then started on her predetermined path again. Hoping that they won’t find her again.

*Little did any of them realize that the Elements had their own plans for the small group, and those plans would come to light soon enough. *

Ten Days later, Scarlet made a stop in a new area to rest for a few days and restock on some of her supplies. She decided on this place because she liked the way that it looked and wanted to explore.

When she was getting to know the lay of the land, when she heard a deep deafening roar coming from her left, she jumped up high in the trees so that she could get a better view of what was going on.

When she caught sight of a group of Huge Males that were a lot bigger than the other groups that she had seen while out hunting before.

“This could be a potential problem.” She thought to herself. Not knowing what these Gigantic Males were, or how to deal with them efficiently could be quite troublesome later.

In the end, Scarlet made the decision to keep moving and just go to another area to restock supplies. A couple of Miles into the trip she heard another deafening scream, but it was a Female this time. When she followed the sound, what she saw she couldn’t imagine.

There were Three Males that were surrounding a Female, and she seemed to be having trouble with her labor.

Scarlet was about to just walk away when she heard a Male cry out, “Please you need to hold on just a little longer, there is a Doctor just in the next Village. Please just hold on and we will make it there soon. Please don’t leave us, you need to hold on!!!”

“D*MNIT!!!” was all Scarlet could think when she heard that.

Scarlet came out at that part and made her way towards the small group.

When One of the Males saw her, it looked to be a Sheep Male, he went on the defense trying to chase her off. He was easy enough to dodge. The Second Male a Wolf, saw what happened and went after Scarlet next.

Again, he was easy to stop, and before the Third Male, another Wolf, could make up his mind to either attack or defend, Scarlet quickly said, “She needs help now! You need to make a choice of either trying to attack me or letting me help!”

This got their attention but because Scarlet still had her mask on, they didn’t know what she was, let alone a Female. As she proceeded to walk towards the pair, she unmasked herself.

The Wolf Male didn’t want Scarlet to get closer when he saw her eyes, but since she said that she could help he let her approach but kept his guard up.

When Scarlet reached the Female's side, she said to anyone that would answer, “How far along is she?”

The Wolf Male closest to Scarlet answered her, “She is Four Moons along and is having trouble with the birth. She said that she had pain that she didn’t have with her other births. So, we wanted to get her to the Bigger Village ‘Green Rock Mountain City’ and that way we could get a better Doctor to help her.”

Scarlet began her exam, and she asked what the Female species was. The same Wolf Male said, “She is a wolf, and this is her Fourth time having Young. When she said something was wrong, we knew that we had to get her help.”

Scarlet looked at the Male and determined that he was the Father because his Energy was the same as the Pups. This Male also seemed to be the Leader of their Smaller Village.

After the exam, she found that the Wolf Female was having Three Pups and that there were multiple issues happening here. If things were not resolved quickly, it would be over for not only the Pups but the Mother as well.

Taking her bag off to grab her surgery kit, with some medicine that she had for pain and keeping the Mother calm. She gave the pills to the Father and said, “Feed these to her One at a time. Give her Water in-between each One.”

The Male did as he was told, and the pills had a quick effect. When Scarlet saw that the Wolf Female started to relax, she told them what she needed to do to save both her and the Young. The group didn’t like what needed to be done, they were all upset and wanted Scarlet to go away, but there was no real choice if they wanted their Female to live.
