Travis just kept thanking her again and again as they made their way up to the room that they shared the night before.
They sat there in an awkward silence as Scarlet started to make food for them and her Pup. She didn’t say anything throughout the whole process. Even throughout the meal, neither said a word.
After the meal, they cleaned up, and she went to lay in her hammock with her Pup.
Travis didn’t want to make things any worse and left things as they were while lying on the bed, just trying to enjoy her company while he could. She will get away from him if he tries to follow her again like last time.
It was just luck that he found her this time, and he may never see her again after today. This tore his Heart apart, and before he knew it, he was crying again in silence.
