Scarlet was sick and he was too young. Travis looked at her sad face and said, “How about a substitute?”
He laid down with her in his arms and changed into his Tiger form. Wrapping her up in his paws and pulling her to him. He snuggled her, and she wrapped an arm around One of his huge Paws and held it to her like it was her Pup. Even though he thought that he helped, he still couldn’t stop her from crying.
When the other Males heard her crying, they all rushed over and demanded to know what was going on. Nick tried to take Scarlet from Travis. Growling at him, he said, “She wants her Pup and can’t have him, so keep your hands off of My Female. Got it Dragon?!”
Nick was angry at Travis because there was nothing that he could say. He was an outsider, only here to keep her warm. H
