Scarlet was so muddle-headed and didn’t understand what was going on, with how badly her head hurt, and she was so tired and hungry that nothing made much sense.
She hated this, because she couldn’t comprehend much, and things were moving way too fast. Things started to spin out of control, and soon she found herself saying, “I’m going to throw up.”
She was led over and began to empty out the contents of her stomach. Alex was the quickest with the big bowl to catch the contents that were being released. They were all scared that Scarlet was not going to make it. They wanted to take her pain and suffering upon themselves.
She couldn’t stop retching even though there was nothing in her stomach and was exhausted after and slumped over. Travis pulled her to him and cradled her.
