Scarlet asked Doctor Allan if he had left it alone at any time while he was making it.
When she asked him this, it shocked him to his very core. There was something wrong with the food and he didn’t catch it.
He shook his head and said, “I needed to get One thing and left it alone for a short time. There was more than enough time for someone to go in and mess with the food. I’m sorry that I didn’t notice, and, because of my carelessness, I almost caused harm to your pup. I accept all repercussions and all punishments you deem fit.”
