Desmond had appeared out of no where, shaking me from my sleep. Seeing him was almost like seeing the sun for the first time after a horrible storm. I felt myself relax and melt into his arms as he rocked me. His touch seemed to penetrate deep into my bones, washing my entire body in warmth.
