When Baekhyun woke up, he felt something warm and heavy on his waist, pinning him down. He groans and turns around to see Chanyeol's sleepy face. Baekhyun smiles happily. His mate was finally back.
When he woke up, he was usually alone and he went to bed alone, and it was causing him to worry too much and eat less. He smiled sleepily and gently reached out to caress his mate's face. Chanyeol stirs and slowly opens his eyes to see his small omega smiling at him.
"You're finally with me again." Baekhyun whispers and Chanyeol's smile fades, heart-shattering with guilt. He knew he had hurt him, but the way Baekhyun said it broke Chanyeol's heart.
"I'm sorry baby," Chanyeol sighs and Baekhyun smiles happily, shaking his head.
"It's fine."
The couple cuddled on the bed and exchange several sweet kisses before deciding to wake up and walk down to the breakfast hall, where the chefs are cleaning up. The new chef, Jackson, smiles as he watches the couple walk in.
"Good morning, Baekhyun. Prince Chanyeol." Jackson bows and walks back into the kitchen.
A few minutes later, he reappears with 2 plates of food, making Baekhyun's mouth water.
"Food!" Baekhyun exclaims and Chanyeol chuckles. He takes the food and Jackson eats a little to prove that it's not poisoned. Chanyeol smiles and dismisses Jackson before turning back to his mate who is done half of his food.
"Channie...I don't want anymore." Baekhyun whines as Chanyeol dumps his eggs onto his mate's plate. Chanyeol chuckles as he watches his mate eat it anyways. Baekhyun looks at Chanyeol with a mouthful of eggs.
"Whaff?" he asks, slowly swallowing his eggs and grins at Chanyeol, an idea popping into his head.
"Channie!"
"Hmm?"
"Let's go to the mall today! I really need some clothes and we should start buying things for the baby." Baekhyun grins and Chanyeol smiles.
"Of course. But first, finish your food and then you can get ready and then we'll—"
"I'm done!"
Chanyeol smiles as he watches his hyperactive, pregnant mate waddle upstairs to get ready. He knew immediately that it was a good idea to stay home with his mate rather than in his office, surrounded by paper works and marriage proposals.

"Baek! Are you done yet?" Chanyeol calls from downstairs. He hears his mate shuffling upstairs before hearing his voice.
"Hold on! I have to put on my shoes!" Baekhyun calls and Chanyeol panics, running upstairs to help his mate before he starts crying again, complaining that he was too fat to reach his feet.
He sees his mate sitting on the bed and reaching for the new vans that Chanyeol had bought him before he was pregnant. Baekhyun looks up and sees Chanyeol standing at the door and looking at him with so much love that he suddenly felt bloated.
"Channie! Help me with the shoes. I'm too fat!" Baekhyun starts to whine and looks at the taller with puppy eyes. Chanyeol chuckles and walks over to the whining Baekhyun and immediately kisses him to shut him up.
"You're not fat. You're carrying our pups. The fruit of our love. And even if you think you're fat, you'll still be extremely sexy in my eyes." Chanyeol winks and Baekhyun smiles, a slight blush adorning his face.
"Channie?"
"Hmm?"
"I love you," Baekhyun whispers, burying his face in Chanyeol's chest. Chanyeol chuckles at his cute mate.
"I love you too."
As Chanyeol guides Baekhyun downstairs, he sees Sehun walking into his study room. A few seconds later, he sees him coming back out with a frown.
"Hyung?" Sehun calls and soon locks eyes with Chanyeol.
"Sehun? What's the matter?"
"Nothing. I just thought you'd be in the study." Sehun says and Chanyeol immediately feels Baekhyun stiffen and hold onto him tighter. He knows why. Baekhyun thought that he was going to leave him to work, but that was not the case.
"Actually...about that. I'm not going to be active at work until Baekhyun gives birth and the baby is at least one." Chanyeol says and Baekhyun's surprised face makes him smile.
Sehun grins.
"Good. Kai and I will take care of your work. Go enjoy your time with Baekhyun."
Chanyeol nods and leads Baekhyun outside. It was Baekhyun's first time leaving the house since he came in.
"Channie....I'm scared." Baekhyun whispers. Chanyeol frowns.
"Why?"
"Because I sense Kris and Suho around."
