LouiseLouise didn’t know where she was. All around her, people moved—some quickly, others more slowly. She tried to call out, but her mouth wasn’t listening to her brain. Or her brain wasn’t talking to her mouth.
Tears filled her widened eyes and panic began to set in. Where am I?
She tried once more. That time, she told her brain to tell her body to get up. She began by telling her legs to swing themselves over the bed. But they were slow to listen.
