Kendra
I haven’t stopped thinking about the possibilities of being mated to the gorgeous Princes of Stormhalt. I want them both, I desire them and I love them equally.
Two cocky drop dead gorgeous Alphas, two pair of hands, two pair of eyes, two plump lips tasting and feasting on me... working together to bring me to an intense orgasm.
It’s pretty rare to find a female mated to two or more males. For several decades it has not been heard of. The last Alpha female to be mated to multiple alphas was Lady Chloe Gomorra, she was the last female protector and the bravest and fiercest warrior the kingdoms has ever known.
Such rewards are bestowed upon the most powerful Alpha female by the moon goddess and I am neither a protector nor a descendant.
Chase and Ellie's ceremony is tomorrow. Fortunately for me, I won’t be there to witness it because my blood is considered impure and capable of contaminating the entire ritual process. I have never participated in any blood binding ceremony or any ceremony that involves blood.
I’ve never been one of the women waiting to be assigned a mate or running in the wild during hunting to pick up their mates scent. I’ve never stood in the hall in line facing the men of the pack while the shaman spoke the words of the ritual because I am not qualified.
There is usually a hunt a night before every blood ritual. Apparently, I cannot participate in hunting because I don’t shift.
Aside hunting, I’ve never been a part of the full moon run as well. It’s when the entire pack tear through the forest, killing whatever they find, acting on instinct alone. They cannot speak, nor even understand speech.
I heard hunting is fun, so I’ve only wondered what it’ll feel like to go hunting or run in the wild with the rest of the pack.
Well, I’m hunting this season, but with two feet instead of four. Anna had insistently asked me to tag along.
There is a reward for who turns up with the biggest catch. Chase has somehow managed to maintain the "merciless gladiator" title since the age of fifteen. With Alpha Leo back and also hunting, it’ll be a tough competition.
The Pack gathers at the traditional get-together ground. A large clearing in the heart of the forest with a roaring fire pit at the center.
Everyone is quietly waiting for the shaman to finish communing with the spirits. Each one of us are in our different tribal outfits.
Two tiny pieces of cloths made from animal skins that barely covers the women’s boobs and a very short short skirt. A white chalk markings on our belly and foreheads. The men are bare chested, chalk markings on their biceps and forehead.
I stick close to Anna and Mariam in the crowd, anxiously waiting for the competition to begin.
The park is divided into three tribes. The Kitonians, they are the largest tribe in the kingdom, consisting of betas but mostly omegas. The Dradonians, they are the smallest of the three tribes and are magically powerful. The last but not the least are the ruling tribe, the Gomorians… I am of the Kitonia tribe.
“Sis, I don’t think you should be here.” Cassie whispers from behind me. It is her first hunting today as well. “ don’t think I care. I just don’t want Mum shouting at me for not looking out for you.”
“Leave me to worry about myself, sis.”
"whatever!" she mumbles, clicking her tongue.
“Sweetie, don't worry. There's a reason Chase has remained the crown prince. If anyone could actually win in his place, they would have done that a long time ago.” I hear Natasha whisper into Ellie’s ear.
Every one is worried for him because of Alpha Leo's presence. If Alpha Leo wins the "merciless gladiator" title, it will raise questions on Alpha Chase’s competence to head the pack. To keep the crown also requires him to keep winning in everything.
I can sense Chase's calm, vicious confidence in his own abilities when I catch his eyes. He is surrounded by his sidekicks.
Holding his gaze, “ Please win this, Chase.” I say in my mind. He may be an a.ss, but I don't want to see him lose.
If possible, I want both my boys victorious tonight.
He smirks and nods at me slowly. Strangely, i feel as though he heard me, even though I didn't speak.
“ You are not save around us, Kendra – around me. You should leave now before the hunt begins.” He responds without saying a word and I know that my thoughts are going straight into his mind and his in mine.
“I am never save around you, Chase.” I hold his smoldering gaze and feel his desire grow, echoing mine, deep and powerful.
Before I can say anything else to him, the shaman walks into the ritual ring to address the crowd, breaking into whatever weird bond brewing between Chase and I.
“This is going to be so much fun, babe.” Anna whispers to me, but her eyes is far gone into something else in the crowd.
I follow her eyes to where George is leaning his back against a tree and smiling broadly at her.
“Uhm. Is there… something you’d like to tell me?” I ask, returning my confused eyes on her. “Is he…”
“Shii…” she cuts me short. “Lower your voice, Kendra” Biting her lower lip, she looks both sides, making sure no one is paying attention before dropping her voice, “Yes, he is... I will tell you the whole gist after the hunt.”
The shaman chants some wordless incantation, walking in circles for a while before stopping in the middle.
“She is going to get herself killed.” Ellie’s voice comes low and venomous.
“Why can’t she get it? She is not one of us.” Kaila adds.
The three girls giggles softly. “Never have and never will.” Natasha says.
I refuse to be maimed by their words. Not today. I am here to have fun with the entire pack for the first time in my life and I won’t let them ruin my joyous mood
"Welcome, everyone, to another hunting night,” he says. “And a special welcome to the young men and women who have reached the age of mating. This is another opportunity to find your mate in-between hunt.” He continues droning.
“I wish Alpha Leo notices me tonight.” Mariam says in a thrilling tone that make me want to punch her gut.
“ He will not be hunting.” I reply, somehow happy that Leo is absent.
“Says who? He is right over there..” she points me to Leo who is standing near George, his hand on his sword hostler. “I could get lost in those big beautiful eye.” She exhales, drooling over him.
I try to throw Leo a smile when he meet my eyes... but he doesn't smile back. He nods in Anna's direction before turning back to the shaman.
“One big kill ends the hunt and the winner becomes the pack's new merciless gladiator,” he instructs. “When you’ve made your kill, bring the body back to the fire as evidence.”
He doesn’t say what comes next, but we know. After the hunt comes the first mating for those who are able to pick up their mates scent. That’s the part most people are looking forward to.
“Stay close to me, Kendra.” Anna says, taking my hand in hers and squeezing it gently.
“Now Go,” the shaman commands, and they're off, stripping out of their clothes.
I just have time for a glimpse of both my boys bodies before they start shifting. Chase a massive wolf, shaggy brindled fur replacing his biceps and Leo body lengthen to an inhuman height, fur and teeth erupting, his eyes glowing fierce and murderous.
They are everything!
Even in all that furs and blazing and dangerous golden eyes, there is something soft in my boys eyes. I can see the reflection of the fire in their eyes as they hold mine. They are both looking at me. Thesame emotion swirling around them.
Their focus immediately shifts from bloodthirsty hunters ready to tear their victim to concern for my safety.
I am surrounded by wolves. Shamefully, I am the only one in human form.
“I’ve got this for you, Kendra... I am the strongest, the fastest, the only one fit for you... You’re mine… alone.” Alpha Leo promises in his thoughts.
How am I able to hear their thoughts? What is happening to me? Something in me is changing and I can’t quite place my finger on it.
I keep pace with Anna who is now a silver wolf as we run. I follow her trail as fast as I can. We’re way behind. From a distance I can hear the Pack start to bay as the hunt amps up.
