PROPHETIC NIGHTMARE

EPISODE 3. The Unexpected Situation

On the other end. Hema is jumping on her bed because she was embarrassed. She don’t know what do with herself, on top of saying that she likes him, she even cut call in middle of his response. Hema’s mom hears sounds from hema room, she open door and she see hema’s red face and messy bed.

She was confused and surprise because she never saw hema like that so she ask hema “hema are you ok? why is your face is red, or are you perhaps sick?”.

Sharda was bombarding the question but hema wasn’t listening to her because hema mind was completely off because of call.

Sharda ask “hema are you really not sick, tell me if you are so that we can cancel tomorrow’s appointment.

Hema replies “don’t worry mom I am not sick so don’t worry and Don’t worry about tomorrow we have police protection with us. Ok! now go I have to sleep.”.

Hema look outside of the window. She saw star twinkling, she says “today is the best day for me.” And she go to sleep.

Tomorrow morning. Sharda wake her up.

Hema “mom it’s still morning and I don’t have school to go.”

Sharda replies “hema did you forgot today is our appointment. we have to meet at 10 am, wake up.”

Hema remembers it and wake up but she realize that yesterday she was gonna tell raj about appointment but she miss the chance.

Hema thinks ‘I wanted to tell him yesterday but I couldn’t tell him, should I call him now? No! No! After what happen yesterday, I can’t just casually talk to him, I will tell him after we come back. Yes lets do that.’.

After the appointment.

The appointment goes smooth. They were returning home but they decided to do some shopping. They started looking around for groceries. It was open market with full of people but police were also keeping an eye on them.

Sharda was thinking about making lady finger because it was hema’s favorite she started looking for it but suddenly she realize hema got out of her sight she started calling her name but she didn’t hear any response she got anxious she tell police officer that hema is missing,

they started to look for her but they didn’t find her.

Sharda is so shocked that she collapse on the ground.

police call ambulance. Every one got the news that hema is missing. They starting to worry about what happen to her and the whole afternoon pass by but we no news yet.

Raj is worried he heard about hema going missing.

Raj ask “Bharti mam don’t you know where she might be or butcher, you said you got clue right.”

Bharti shakes her head and said “we only got that clue, after that we didn’t find anything about him but don’t worry because she missing doesn’t mean butcher is behind him.”

“mam, I know that but that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t be worry” raj says.

Suddenly raj’s phone started to ring. Ring! Ring!! Ring!!! Raj see it, it’s some unknown number. He shows his phone to mam and ask “mam its some unknown number calling me what should I do?.”

Bharti “pick up but put on speaker mode we have to listen to it.”

Raj pick up the phone and turn on the speaker.

A rough voice come from phone and it says “Hi every one! it’s me butcher. I called because you must be worried about someone right, so I just call you to relived you stress and confusion. Yes! It’s me. I took hema.”

Raj “you bastard if anything happen to her I will kill you.”

Butcher “ohh! I am scared please don’t kill me. Hahaha you think I will get scared by that but don’t worry nothing happened to her Yet, her life will depend on you.”

Raj “what do you want?”

butcher “look at you suddenly talking like this you must be care for her a lot, then this will be simple you have to do what I tell you do. Simple.”

Raj “what you want me to do?”

butcher “simple, just come out of police station in 5 minutes. bye!”

raj “wait! Why…”.

suddenly call get disconnected.

Everyone was just confuse what to do.

Bharti mam “Raj don’t listen to him he is just trying to get you out, we can’t be sure that hema is with him so don’t go.

All sudden a familiar voice calls raj. its his dad’s call.

Officer 1 calls raj’s dad as soon as he listens butcher.

Omkar “raj don’t step out of police station, he is just trying to trick you. You just stay put and police will handle him. Ok. I will come too, so don’t go.

“No! I am not gonna stay here and let hema die.” Raj loudly yelled at everyone.

Raj says “Dad if I stay here she will die.”

Omkar “No raj police will took care of her ok, they will catch him.”

Raj “dad, I am not gonna run away again.”

As he listen to raj his dad realize that raj didn’t forget about past.

Omkar “raj di you still remember it.” Raj “who would forget this kind of memories.”,

Omkar “but it wasn’t you fault raj”,

raj replies “but dad, I did ran away and I still feel guilty about it dad.”

Omkar yells at raj “raj but you are not brave yet. I know, officer told me that you still see nightmares in sleep.”

Raj “Yes, dad you are right about it, but the nightmare is not about me, it always about me not being able to save hema. Dad I won’t be a coward this time. I will save her dad.”.

As he say this he cuts the call. Everyone got silent. As raj decided to go outside. He walks towards bharti mam and he ask “mam can you give me your gun?”

police 1 “raj do you know what your asking, what If the gun got out of your hand, mam might get suspended.”

Bharti mam “wait” bharti mam takes her gun and hand it over to raj ans says “saving hema is also my responsibility so take it and save her or save yourself at least.”. he take the gun and raj steps out of the police station.

Raj stands in front of police station. He start to look around, all of sudden he receives another call, he picks it up.

Butcher “hey kid, your quite brave, now run towards the white king supermall in 10 minutes and be careful not to get followed by those police, if I see even one police I will kill her without hesitation.”.

“No! I will be careful, don’t hurt her.” Raj says. Click! call get disconnected.

Raj loudly tells police officer to not follow him, and raj started running towards mall.

Some police officer started to follow him. Raj realize that they will not listen to him so he started running faster. He come to mall and he receive another call.

Butcher “well done you came on time but they are still onto you, well what more can I expect from a kid, but don’t worry I will tell you places and road so that they won’t be able to follow you.”.

As raj is listening to him he is getting more and more away from the police station. For 20 minutes raj is running around to find his place and another call comes,

butcher “kid this is last stop and important too, so remember it first take right from hotel then, left then second right and then take another right you will see a warehouse come their but listen kid you have come here in less than a 5 minutes.”.

Raj so tired from running all the time and now he have to run like 100 meter in 5 minutes, he confused and tired says “wait! Only 5 minutes at least give me 10 minutes.”

Butcher says “No, if I gave you more minutes then you might think of informing them.”

Raj replies “no I will not inform anyone just please give me some time.”.

Butcher “No I can’t, yes and you also have to throw your mobile ok, so don’t think much about it because you only have 5 minutes, you time starts now.” Click! Call ends.

Raj is scared, he only have 5 minutes. Without thinking raj throws his mobile and started running towards the direction he started mumbling about which direction Right left second right and right he runs at full speed he found himself in alone solitary place he see the ware house, he rushes towards it,

He open the door. Creak! Their was not a light in their it was complete darkness but opening the door he was able to see little.

Raj is confused to know if he comes to right place or not, then hears a voice “kid you made it in five minutes I guess you didn’t waste any time.

As he says this butcher turn on the lights. When he turn on the lights raj see butcher sitting on a chair and hema on a ground.

Raj yells “hema!” and try to go to her.

Butcher says “Wait Kid, stay their or I will kill her.”

Raj quickly takes out the gun and says “butcher, I am warning you, stay away from her or I will shoot you.”

Butcher “kid, I am scared please don’t shoot me! Hahaha you think I am gonna say that, kid you want to shoot me,”.

he picks up hema who is tied and yells “shoot me raj, you want to shoot me right! But unfortunate for you, I didn’t had any nightmare before, so I will not die today but she will die for sure. Now kid be smart and listen to me.”

Raj realize that the plan about scaring him is failed. He put hand up.

Butcher “good kid, now unload the gun throw bullets of you gun.” Raj do as he says, he takes bullet out of the gun and throws on the ground. And he also throw gun far away.

Hema who was unconscious before, become conscious. She kicks butcher and started running towards raj. Butcher has remote to control the doors of the warehouse, he immediately close the doors.

Raj free hema’s hands, he look around and sees that the door is locked, the only option is to take remote from him.

Raj in silent voice tells hema “don’t move from here I will take remote from him”.

Butcher “well raj, did you decide to take remote from me?, you want to fight me ha! Then lets fight.”

Raj run towards the butcher, raj swing the punch but butcher dodges it, raj throw the punches but butcher dodging every time.

Raj try to punch butcher from close but butcher punch him in guts, raj shivers in his legs. then butcher start his attacks, he punching raj so many times but he wasn’t able dodge any of them. Butcher kicks him this he fall on bullets.

Hema comes to him worried and crying she says “raj are you ok, why did you come in here, you should have stayed in police station.”

Butcher gets annoyed by hema inteferance because now playing with raj is much more fun to him.

Butcher “hey, why are you getting in between us now? Sigh I can’t handle you.” As he says this he take out the knife he started running toward the hema.

But he slips on the bullets that raj had thrown, regain his balance and stabs!! But this time raj gets in middle of them, he took the knife in stomach. “Hahaha!!”

Butcher laughs and says “Bad move kid you should have run, instead of trying to save to her”. “Hahahaha!!” Butcher is laughing.

His laugh stops when he wasn’t able to take the knife out of his stomach.

Butcher says “kid, let go of my hand” raj remembers that officer 1 says that sometimes it hard to stop attack, and if you can’t do that just hold his hand so that he won’t be able to do a second attack.”

He tightly hold the hand. Butcher trying to get his hand out but raj is not letting him do that. Butcher becomes frustrated. Raj sees this and use this chance. Raj use his strength to hold his hands and kicks on his crouch. “AHHHHH” Butcher yells in pain.

Butcher grip on knife get loose. Raj then punch him. He falls in agony. Raj then takes out knife from him and hold it in hand.

Raj thinks ‘wait I can’t kill him now because he didn’t see any nightmares, it means he won’t die today, so then I will do something so that he won’t able to go after hema.’ Raj stabs his left leg.

Staaab!!

He continuously stabs him. Butcher try to escape, he try to kick raj with his right leg but raj catches it and stab that leg too repeatedly.

Butcher passes out from pain and blood loss. Raj search Butcher and founds remote. Raj is bloody and hurt goes to hema to hand over remote but he falls.

Hema comes to him, hema put his head on her laps. Tear drops on raj face, he opens his eyes he see hema crying.

Raj then says “hema, don’t cry listen take this remote and go to police before he wakes up.”

Hema replies “no I will not go anywhere, don’t talk like that mam should be coming in here so I am gonna stay here.”

Raj says “hema, don’t worry about me just go.”

Hema “I said no, why are you even insisting on it”

raj replies “hema, I think my nightmare become true, he even said the same word, so I might die now but I am at least happy that I was able save you.”

Hema “raj don’t stay stuff like this you are not going to die, please raj don’t die, I don’t want you to die like this please.”

Raj “yeah! I remember one thing, I didn’t gave answer to you before. I will give you now, I like you too a lot, I have a wish, can you kiss me before I go.”

Hema says “No!”

raj suddenly become rocks thinking that how cool he sounded while telling her and still got rejected.

Raj “well, it all right its your choice”.

Hema “no, not like that but your asking as it’s you last wish or something. Raj I really don’t want you to die I really want you be my boyfriend as long as possible. So please if you survive I will kiss you and not just one time I will kiss everyday if want me to.”

Raj smiles and says “well its great I will do my bes…” raj become unconscious.

Three days later.

Raj opens his eyes.

He sees his mom sitting next to him. He calls to her “mom”.

Lakshmi hears his sons voice after going through so many tensed night, her tears started overflow, in that state she calls for doctor and her husband. Doctor comes checks him and tell his parents that every thing is normal now so don’t worry.

Bharti mam also came knowing that he is awake. When she come, she saw him and just Congratulation him. But I can tell by that congratulation and that smile that she was also worried about Him.

Raj ask bharti mam “mam what happen to butcher? and is hema all right?”.

Bharti mam smiles and tell “even if you are at this state you are still asking for others, well butcher is alive but his leg is not. it seems he won’t be able to walk anymore. But don’t feel bad about he deserve it. And if you want to know about hema she will come soon.”

As the mam finishes her sentence door open and hema and her family comes.

Hema immediately rushes to raj and kisses him.

Everyone get shocked about hema behavior but no one want to stop her because they know how much both of them went through.

After the kiss hema hugs raj.

Sharda “Ahem, ahem”. When hema hears her mom she let go of raj.

Sharda “I know you were missing raj but you should be aware if there are people around you or not, if you know what I mean.”

Hema get blushed by her mom’s comment. Hema “no mom it’s not like that, it was a promise.”

Bharti mam “what promise?”.

Hema “bharti mam, the thing happen, when raj was injured he was thinking so many bad thinks about dying and last wish. So I just promise him if he survives I will kiss him. Right Raj.”

Raj “Yes, and that was best motivation I had to live.”

Hema embarrassed about raj’s comments.

Hema “why did you say it like that.” Hahaha everyone started to laughing. “ahem, ahem” hema mother again remind them that they are there.

Sharda “raj, we are really indebted to you for saving our daughter’s life.”

Raj replies “no, don’t put like that mam,”

Sharda “no, we really want thank you so much. we can’t repay for what you did for us.”

Raj replies “if you really want to repay me I have a way.”

Sharda ask “what?”.

Raj “you have to accept our relationship, oh yeah, before that, hema I think the week has already pass and our date have ended but I want a new start. Hema, when last time I ask you out, I just blurted out without thinking but now I want to tell you truth, I really like you a lot, will you go out with me.”

Hema is surprise by sudden confession but she also happy, so hema says “yes, I will, and I also like you raj.”

Raj “there you have it mam, we really love it if you give permission to us.”

Sharda knows what kind of person raj is and he will make her happy so she said “yes, I will give permission to you and I will also talk to my husband so don’t worry.”

Lakshmi “well, I guess they don’t need our permission what are we even doing here let go.”

Hema “no, mam we really really love if you and uncle will give us blessings too.”

Lakshmi “well, I know my son. he really choose such a cute girlfriend after so long time.”

Raj “well your right, wait what do you mean so long time, mom don’t say such a things.” “Hahaha” every one laugh. And few weeks pass.

Raj at school.

Today raj 1st day to school after so much time. When raj comes in classroom everyone started to clapping and hurrahing raj. Because he did something impossible. They said that it is impossible to change future but he did and he even save someone else.

Teacher calmed everyone and tell raj to go to his seat. Raj go to his table and touch the table he realizes that every thing started from this table, his nightmare and then his meeting with hema and other police officers and bharti mam. Almost everyone was scared, but after he realize that future not set in stone, future can be change, you just need to take rights steps, if you take rights steps you will get bright future but if you just become lazy or take the wrong steps your future will become disaster. Raj sit on his chair and put his head on the table. He closes his eyes while looking at the window and he sleeps again to see the new wonderful dream.
