Her Mate, His Luna

Chapter 16: Part 2

*Aliane POV*

    It's been three hours since I saw Iván, but that fact hasn't stopped the separation anxiety I feel. Something about being away from him right now seems so wrong. I am counting the minutes until I get to walk down the aisle and see him, but unfortunately, I still have another hour until that can happen. When he came to see me earlier, he was caught leaving by his sister, and she freaked out. She yelled at him, and for an alpha, he looked terrified. I would have found it funny if I wasn't so embarrassed. It turns out she was expecting that to happen. So she was lying in wait. She also had a spare dress since Iván saw me in my first one. I don't know why she is so extra. It might be the hormones, but honestly, that's just what she is like. 

    The new dress was white and was a ballgown style with a little bit of extra length in the back, so it had a tiny train. It was strapless and plain white at the top until it got to my waist. On my waist, it looked like I had a belt of sparkles on. The sparkles continued to go down the dress to the floor. It was even more breathtaking than the fake one. I couldn't wait to walk down the 'aisle' to see my mate. In just a few hours, I would officially be Luna and married to Iván.

    I was torn out of my thought when My dad walked in alongside my mom, Kyne, Reva, and Izzy. I ran over to my dad and mom, and we had a group hug. I can not put in words how happy I was to see them. 

"Mom, Dad, I didn't expect to see you!"

"We couldn't miss your big day, princess." My mom said

"Daddy, can you walk me down the aisle?"

"Of course, ladybug!" My dad said.

I walked out of our group hug and went over to Kyne. Reva and Izzy were talking, so I decided id see my brother first. Once I got to Kyne, he gave me a huge hug, and I put my face in his neck. Kyne has always smelled like the forest after it rains, and it's comforting. I have missed my brother over the couple of days I was here. 

"I missed you, Kyne," I whispered. Too afraid to talk loudly because it may interrupt the moment. 

"I missed you to Aliane, but we are here now, and I'm so excited to be here for your luna ceremony and wedding."

I pulled out of our embrace and smiled up at my big brother. For so long, he has been my hero, the person I went to when I had a bad dream. My savior when a pack slut when bullying me. Now I have a mate, and I won't have my brother as much. I feel like I'm losing someone to gain another. But I know I'll always have Kyne ill never really lose me because the sibling bond never leaves even after you do. 

"I love you, K."

"I love you to A"

I walked over to Reva, who pulled away from Izzy and came to me. Reva was my first sister. Ever since she met my brother, we have been best friends. I thought coming here would be hard because I didn't have friends, but it was the opposite. I have made two life long friendships so far. I pulled Reva in for a big hug when we were close enough for me to reach out. Even though I have Izzy as a sister now, Reva will always be my family. I had missed her and Notta so much. I missed all the pranks we would play. This one time, we attached a glitter bomb to Kyne's chair, and he sat on it. It was awesome. He was covered in rainbow glitter. He was pissed, but it was so hard to take seriously when it looked like a unicorn threw-up on him. 

    We stated in our embrace for a few seconds before pulling away. I smiled at her, and she did the same. I went in close to her again and whispered in her ear. 

"We need to pull a prank on my mate Iván before you leave, sista."

    I pulled back, and she nodded at me. She had this crazy look in her eyes, and I just knew she was already planning something. Then out of nowhere, the look went away, and she had an evil smirk on her face. I started to laugh. She was as sweet as pie, but when she wanted to be, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between her and Loki, the god of mischief.  I missed this over the last few days. I know I had just seen them, but I still missed all of them so much. 

    Izzy started to eyeball us, trying to figure out why I was laughing, and she had this weirdly goofy and mischievous look on her face. Which just made me laugh harder and made Reva start to laugh along with me. After a few minutes, Izzy seemed to let it go, and Reva and I calmed down.

"Alright, everyone, it is the time! Let's get you out there, Aliane. I can't wait for you to be officially Luna and my sister-in-law!" Izzy said, breaking the silence.

Everyone nodded and left except Izzy and my dad. 

"Okay, Aliane, I'll have the twin come and get you when it's time. They are going to walk down the aisle right behind you and Blake."

"Alright, I'll see you later then," I said, and my dad nodded. 

Izzy walked out of the room, leaving just my dad and me. 

"Are you ready for this Ladybug?" he asked. You could see he was worried but also really happy and proud of me. 

"Yes, daddy. I don't think I've ever been so ready. I haven't seen him in fours, and yet it seems like a lifetime. I am fighting the urge to run to him, But it helps knowing I'll see him soon."

"Alright. You know if he ever makes you mad and you can't be around him, your welcome back home anytime, right?"

"I know, daddy, but this is my home now. I don't know if he will ever make me so mad I don't want to see him, but I can say ill visit you a lot. This maybe my home now, but your pack was my home first."

My dad pulled me into another bear, crushing hug. I wrapped my arms around his waist, and we stood there just like that.

    I couldn't tell you how long we stated that his, but eventually, we were interrupted by the twins. They looked absolutely adorable. Alberto had on a black tux with an emerald green clip-on tie. It matched my eyes, and I knew that it had been Iván's idea. Alexandro had on the same black tux, but his tie was honey brown, just like Iván's eyes. It was adorable. I ran over to them and pulled them into a tight hug. 

 "You look so grown up and handsome boys," I said

"Thank you, Aunty Ali," they said in unison. 

"Boys, I'd like you to meet my dad Blake. Can you say hi?"

"Hi, Mr. Blake," Alberto says while Alexandro waves.

"Daddy, meet Alberto and Alexandro. I'll tell you how to tell them apart later but know it is time to see my mate." I said and stood up and started clapping with a big smile on my face. My dad nodded at me while the three of them laughed at me. 

    My dad and I interlocked hands while the boys got behind us. We started walking out of the room and down the stairs. After that, we headed towards the backyard. The walk probably only took one minute, but it felt like months. That was until we got outside and I saw Iván. He was breathtaking. He had shaven, so his jawline that I just wanted to like was on full show. She was in a dark grey tux with a black tie and a white undershirt. He was looking like a whole damn meal plus dessert, and I couldn't get enough of him. 

* Iván*

    When she stepped into my line of sight, my jaw dropped. She had changed from the dress she had earlier, but this one made her look way better. She looked like a diamond. She was my diamond. I'll be thanking the moon goddess every day for the rest of my life because she blessed me with Aliane. She was perfect. All of her curves were on display, and I thanked Izzy from the bottom of my heart. 

    Aliane and I had locked eyes at some point, and I could feel a smile forming on my face. I wanted to cry at the sight of her and all the emotions I had, but I couldn't. I'm an Alpha, and we can't show weakness. In a matter of seconds that felt like hours, she was beside me, and it was time to start the ceremony. I took her hand, and we turned to face the pack. I cleared my throat and then started my speech. 

"As your Alpha, my responsibility is towards you and my Luna. For years, my focus has been to be your Alpha and Luna, but today, you will earn your rightful Luna."

I looked over at Aliane and smiled. 

"Now, if there are no objections, we will proceed with the ceremony." I looked over my pack with a scowl and a do not test me look and then wait a few seconds. When nobody said anything, I turned to Aliane and began again. 

"Do you Aliane James promise to be there for your Alpha and support him no matter what?"

"I do."

"Do you promise to always be there for your pack? Put the needs of them and your Alpha above your own?"

"I do."

"Do you promise to uphold our laws and set the best example you can for your pack?" 

"I do." 

    I reach behind us and grab the ritualistic dagger. I cut my hand and her the dagger. She grabbed it from me cuts her palm as well.

"Then as Alpha of the Lunar Moon Pack, I accept you, Aliane James, as Luna of the Lunar moon pack."

    I raise my hand to hers, and she grabs it. Once the blood from our joined hands has mixed, I felt some of my power floe over to her.  Her eyes clouded over like it does when you mind link someone. A smile breaks out over her face, and her eyes go back to normal. She looks over to me, and I smile and nod. We unclasp hands, and she takes a step forward. 

"Hello, Lunar Moon pack its an honor to be your Luna, and I can't wait to get to know you at the Barbque in an hour." 

    She turned around and walked to me with a big smile. I grab her and pull her close. She tilts her head up to look me in my eyes. 

'I love you, Mariposa,' I said through our pack mind link.

'I love you to  Iván.' she says, and with that, I pull her into a kiss.
