Her Mate, His Luna

Chapter 18

*Iván's POV*

"Aliane isn't our biological daughter," Blake said.

"What do you..." I tried to ask, but Ivy interrupted me.

"Iván honey, we need you to stay quiet until we are done; this is hard enough as it is." 

    I just nodded my head.

"We found her by our borders. I was on patrol that night and found her. She was wrapped in a blanket and inside of a picnic basket right outside of the territory. I would have never even found her if she wasn't crying. She was out of view, and I think that's how she was placed there without our guards being alerted. I took the baby to the packhouse and called a meeting with my ranked members and my wife. We talked about what to do with the baby, but when I suggested we give Aliane to the council so they can work out an adoption, Ivy said no. She was attached to Aliane from the first second she laid eyes on her, and Aliane was just as attached. Kyne was just a few years old, and ivy and I were struggling to get pregnant again. We wanted another baby, and so we decided that Aliane would be ours." Blake said 

    I was shocked and confused, and Ivy must have seen this because she started to add to what Blake said. 

"When Blake found her, there was a note along with a ring. The note said, 'please protect my daughter. Rouges killed my mate, and terrible people are hunting me. My daughter is extraordinary, and no one must know who she is or that she is alive, which is why I have to leave my daughter behind, and I will only tell you that her name is Aliane. This ring was my mother's; please give it to her when she becomes a mother. However, if she adopted, and her new parents choose to tell her she is adopted, tell her that I love her with my whole heart, and when she turns into a wolf, she will know why she is special. Why we are special.'  We took her message very seriously. This is part of the reason we had a meeting about it, but I wanted her. I was in love with her from the first moment I laid eyes on her. I knew I couldn't have any more children because the moon goddess was planning on giving us Aliane. The pack accepted her and stayed quiet about how she became to be our daughter. Only the old wolves in our pack know that Aliane is not our biological daughter, but it doesn't matter to any of them." Ivy finished. 

"I knew Aliane wasn't my biological sister, but that fact has never mattered to me. She will always be my little sister, the one I have to protect. The little girl who would get scared and sleep in my room with me." Kyne added.

"Did you guys ever try to find Aliane's biological mother?" I asked

"No, we figured it would be too dangerous." 

"I think you guys need to tell Aliane soon. She will figure it out on her out sooner or later, especially after today. She is different from you guys because she has powers, and the fact she is stronger than you guys and every other wolf I've ever met. I mean, you all look similar, but there are also big differences there too. On top of that, I can't keep that big of a secret from my mate. I cant, and I won't. I'm sorry I'm putting you guys in this position."

"It's alright, Iván. We understand I could never keep something like this from Reva, and I know the same for my parents. We knew this day would come, so don't apologize." Kyne said

"We will talk to her when she wakes up, but now we would all like to go rest if that is alright, honey?" Ivy said

"Of course, it's alright. I'll notify you when she is awake." I said with a smile. 

    Ivy may not be my mate's blood, but she was still her mother, and I still respected her Blake and Kyne. We all got up and walked out of the room. They went to the stairs, and I went down the hall to my room.

     I gently opened the door and walked in. I walked to the bed and checked to see if Aliane was sleeping. She was, so I went to the bathroom to shower. Once I was done, I walked out with a towel around my hips and went to the closet. I grab my boxers and my grey sweat pants. When I was done getting dressed, I walked out of the closet and over to the bed. I slowly got in bed beside Aliane and wrapped my arms around her. 

    Aliane is so beautiful when she sleeps. She looks so innocent. She has these habits like she twitches her nose every time either of us moves or furrows her brows every time I move away, and on a normal day, she can't sleep unless at least one of her legs is intertwined with mine. 

    I don't know how I used to fall asleep without her, but I can't anymore. I never want to go to sleep without her next to me again. I never want to wake up without seeing her beautiful face, and I especially never want to go a day with our banter. I love this girl as I've never loved anything before. She is the strongest person I've ever met, which is why I know she will be okay after her parents tell her the truth. 

    With that thought, I shut my eyes and drift off into a peaceful slumber. 

*Turner's POV*

    I can't believe she went through with that pathetic excuse of a mating ceremony. I didn't go to the after-party because I was too pissed, but I don't need to see her with him. She will be mine soon enough. He isn't good enough for her. He doesn't deserve my sweet and perfect angel. If he thinks that he is going to take her from me, he is wrong. 

    She will be sorry she choose him. I'm going to break her and then build her back up the way I want her. She will be obedient and will want to serve me and only me when I'm done with her. I have to take her from him and show her how happy she was with me again. I'm the only one that is good enough for her. She is going to take care of my pup and give me more.

Aliane 'Castillo' I'm coming for you sweetheart... and you better be f*****g ready for me.
