I hear banging on my door. I walked downstairs to open the door. I opened the door to Lorenzo and he looked super mad. I think to myself this is it, time to come clean to this man. I shut the door and walked over to the couch and sat down. Lorenzo is walking back and forth looking like he is ready to kill someone. I am sitting here waiting for the yelling. Lorenzo walks over and sits next to me. "He hands me an envelope. "I opened it and read the test results, read them out loud, Reiley told Lorenzo. I read them out loud. I’m the biological daughter of Joe Masino. How did you get this, Lorenzo? I paid for rapid results, Reiley, I was going to show you at dinner last night and you took off. I told you my friend needed my help. I’m sorry about ditching you on our first date, but I had to help my friend. He starts to laugh at me, you help your friend all right. You killed 10 or more men to help her. Did you think I wouldn’t find out? Listen Lorenzo, I know you are not a stupid man and will find out as soon as your men open their mouths. I just wanted a few days of rest before I dealt with you. Now you are dealing with me, time to go because we have an appointment to attend. I’m in my pajamas, and you are telling me to leave my house for an appointment. You can go change and pack a bag; we will be gone for a few days. I stormed up to my room and started packing a bag. I put on leggings and a t-shirt with my favorite hoodie and my sneakers. I went downstairs to Axle, holding out his hand for my bag. "Yep, I’m so screwed, so do I call you Angle or Reiley, Axle said. You can call me Reiley Axle and I hand him my bag. He walks out of the house, Lorenzo takes my hand and I grab my purse to leave.

We were in the car on our way somewhere, when Axle asked me how long I had been working with Raven. I met Raven 6 years ago, right before college. I have been learning and helping her for the last 6 years. "How do you know Raven? "She could answer that question, Lorenzo said. "I’m more interested in how you live a double life. "I have tons of connections to finding out information on people and nothing came up with you. "Because I don’t want people to know, I said. I only help Raven when it comes to the right job for me. Last night was a gut punch with the fact she was working with you. "I now know what type of man you are, Lorenzo. "So, you can’t be mad at me for doing what I do, when you probably do more. "I’m not mad at you, more intrigued about the woman sitting in front of me, said Lorenzo. I know you are scared of letting new people into your life. You are a very beautiful woman and have kept me on my toes since. Now you have proven, you will fit into my world, standing next to me, said Lorenzo.

We are here. Lorenzo helps me out of the car and walks me to the door. Welcome to your new home, Reiley. Axle will take you bag you our room and we will visit the doctor. Wait, why am I seeing a doctor? Because of the fight from last night, I want to make sure nothing is broken. You are lucky. I’m not in the mood to fight with you at the moment, Lorenzo. He smiles at me; I will be ready for that fight. He leads me to the doctor’s office he has inside his home. The doctor does the exam. I only have bruised ribs and a few stiches on my arms. I walked out of the office straight into Lorenzo's chest. I look up at him, he is smiling down at me. Let’s get you to our room so you can rest. He took my hand to his room. We walked into his room, I sat on the bed and looked at him. You do know this is your room right, not our room. He stands in front of me, he pulls my chin up, so I look him in the eyes. "You will be my wife soon; this is your room. "What makes you think I will go through with the marriage, I say. "My sweet angel, you have lots to hide, so this marriage is the only choice you have," said Lorenzo. So that is how you are going to play this: blackmail me to be your wife. He leans in and kisses me, my mind goes blank, and I get lost with his kiss. He pulls back from our kiss and puts his hands on my face with his head on my head, no blackmail needed. He turns around to walk away. You need rest. This man just turned my life upside down. He is breaking all my walls slowly. I go to my bag and change into my pajamas; I get into bed for the much-needed sleep. I will deal with everything later after I rest up.

Sitting in bed processing everything that has happened in the last month. This last month has been the hardest on me emotionally. I don’t like to let anyone close to me, I even keep my family and friends at arms link. I’m a broken soul with demons. I fight them alone in the dark. How do I bring the light into the dark? How do I trust a man I only met a month ago? He came into my life like a wrecking ball, ready to destroy everything I built without trying to. As the tears fell on my lap, I realized that everything was my fault. My trust issues are my biggest problem. How do I trust a man that just came into my life? What shocks me the most is how easy it is to open up to him. My heart feels safe with him, my brain is saying run far away. He is a very dark and dangerous man. He does bad things that I fight against. In the shadows of the night, I fight for people who have no one who will fight for them. On the backhand of that, I’m in many ways the same as him. I have blood on my hands too. How do I move forward with everything? I still don’t have all the information about my family history and what I’m to inherit. Why did they come looking for me now? This family is very powerful and could have found me soon. Wiping the tears from my face, closing my eyes, letting the darkness calm me. Time for bed, because I have work tomorrow and time to make some changes.

Alarms blasting in my ear, I rolled over to shut the dam thing off. Sitting up to the alarm still blasting, rubbing my eyes to grab my phone. A hand reaches up and grabs me. I screamed and fell off the bed. The alarm is shut off. I hear laughing. Standing up I looked at the man laughing at me, Lorenzo. I’m standing here confused, and the man is laughing at me for being scared out of my mind. Lorenzo, I yell, stop laughing at me, and why are you in the same bed as me? Well, this is my bed Reiley! I’m laughing because I scared you. Now get back to bed and rest more, you need to take the day off. You had a long weekend; we need to meet with your grandmother at 2pm to go over your inheritance. I’m not getting back in bed with you, you also need to stop telling me what to do. I walk to my bag, getting everything I need to get ready for work. I stormed into the bathroom and locked the door. How could I have forgotten he said our room? Time to shower so I can get to work. I walked out to Lorenzo still lying in bed. I walked over to pick up my phone. I called Oscar to pick me up at Lorenzo’s house. Lorenzo, I’m going to work. You can send over the address to meet Mrs. Masino at. I will make dinner plans for this evening. You and I have to come to an agreement on our relationship. He sits up as I’m walking out the door. You know Reiley, it goes both ways in telling me what to do too. "See you at 2pm. "I will send you the address, and we will have dinner here. "We do have a lot to go over," said Lorenzo.
