I ran around the apartment, one hand searching relentlessly through a file of unorganised papers and the other trying it’s hardest to shove the rim of my white shirt into the black pencil skirt. Nothing was where it was supposed to be! After Kael had left, I made a point of spending a good hour wallowing in my self-pity before turning the place upside down, papers, books and anything else that could harbour my notebook.  But I remember putting it inside the draw!
