Noah's POV
After Chris killed the alpha of the pack who attacked us, I thought it was all over. However, this pack wasn't the only one to sneak up on us. After Chris fled to the safe room, Jace was trying to say something but wasn't making any sense due to his condition. Apparently, Jace's father and uncle snuck into our territory during the fight.
"He is coming with me. If you try to follow, I will kill him." His father threatened as he held a knife to Jace's throat. Megg let out a low growl but didn't make a move. "Can we take him to the hospital first? He needs medical care!" I try to reason with the man, but he refuses.
"No, but you will tell your guards not to attack me as I take my son away from this place." I sigh, but do as he demands.
