We don’t bury the dead.
We don’t burn them as they do in Infernia - they believe the spirits of all living beings are in fact fire, that’s burning inside us. Nathaniel once told me that when the fire becomes too powerful for the human - or wolf - body to contain it, it needs to go out. The body cannot live without the fire and parishes but the fire remains and becomes part of something - or someone else.
They also believe whatever the fire has burned is not dead because it becomes part of the flames that continue rising.
