(92) Ruining Ye Zen

Winter is nearing its end. The Winter Exam is in few days from now. Unlike the previous three seasons, they don't have to compete with other clan academies. Because of winter, a lot of spirit beasts gets ferocious. Thus, the competition will conclude in each clan's tournament. Students are allowed to use qi and weapons. The student who wins will have a chance to pick an inferior weapon and a low grade technique or either exchange it with spirit crystals. After the Winter Exam, students can join their own factions and league. The most largest league are the Vanguard, Medicine and army.
Each clan have their own offensive army since dispute is always inevitable. However, it was obvious Zi Clan have the weakest manpower. Hei Clan trained their youngsters in harsh ways as they grow disciplined outside, unruly inside. Jin Clan is the most flourishing clan within the three and they have a lot of resources to strengthen their own youth. But, those are not the only available factions.
Zi Yingjun and Ye Zen entered the academy again after a long journey outside. They were often asked how the outside world looks since they believed it is more dangerous. Zi Yingjun just shrugged and prefers to sleep. Ye Zen was the one forced to answer over and over. While learning, he keeps his sister hidden in the academy. Ye Qinglan refused to leave and stay with him for few days.
"Ye Zen, quick!" Ye Qinglan got excited to see her brother entering the dorm. She looked outside and no boys are around, aside from Zi Yingjun. Her eyes narrowed on him but she chose to focus on Ye Zen. Ye Qinglan dragged him to his room and showed Hu. He was dressed in a princess-styled gown. Hu was crying silently and Ye Zen can feel his distress. "Can I dress up Hu? I have a lot more of designs in my mind. Maybe I will stay here until all designs are finished!"
"Ye Qinglan, you troublemaker." Ye Zen pinched her cheek. They are both in big trouble because of her. "If this is about staying here, I would say no. Hu, get off that silly dress and bring her back to the palace."
"Ye Zen, you're rushing to make her leave?" Zi Yingjun interrupted them. Sovereign Hei appeared behind him as Ye Zen's eyes flashed a sharp light. "What about our deal? Regarding your sister."
"What deal?" Ye Qinglan blinked in confusion.
"Fine. Seal her." Ye Zen moved away from Ye Qinglan. He looked up to her with an apologetic gaze. "Sis, this is the only way left."
Ye Qinglan immediately knew what Ye Zen planned. She rushed to him in order to beg but Sovereign Hei suddenly appeared in front of her.
"Y-Ye Zen! You don't know what you're doing! You cant seal my Authority!" Ye Qinglan tried to speak more when Sovereign Hei covered her mouth. Zi Yingjun took out a Source Brush and approached them.
"It will be very painful, but effective. Thank me later." Zi Yingjun flashed a kind smile. He quickly finished writing a seal midair and it approached her forehead. The seal sunk into her head. Ye Qinglan screamed but no voice came out. She bit the shadowy hand yet she caught nothing. Because of the intense pain, Ye Qinglan fainted in the end. She dropped down but Ye Zen caught her quickly.
"Hey, Shi Zhao." someone suddenly knocked on the closed door. The other students are already here. Ye Zen was troubled where to hide Ye Qinglan when Zi Yingjun simply tossed her on the bed and covered her with a quilt. However, the quilt is not enough to hide her tiny feet.
"What is it?"Ye Zen opened the door and blocked their sight from his bed. The one who knocked was Zi Liu Liu. They were a bit acquainted whenever Zi Yingjun sleeps.
"Head Teacher is coming over. Someone said you are inviting a girl here." Zi Liu Liu sneered. The other students behind him were expectant to hear his answer. Ye Zen kept a clean character in the academy. A lot of boys are envious of him. What will happen if that was proven true?
"Girl? What girl?" Ye Zen acted ignorant. His confused face almost persuaded the students. "Where is Head Teacher?"
"Here." a cold voice answered. The students parted and Head Teacher Zi Lao Shui came forth. He needed to clear this misbehaviour. Head Teacher Zi Lao Shui is not even surprised if Ye Zen was proven with that crime. After all, he is close to a bastard. "Student Shi Zhao, can I see your room?"
"Shi Zhao, why is it noisy?" a familiar voice resounded. Head Teacher Zi Lao Shui and Ye Zen wore a gloomy face. He can only grit his teeth and let the teacher in.
Zi Yingjun was the only person in the room. He is looking outside an open window. A sly grin on his face. Zi Yingjun turned to the guests as Ye Zen threw a confused look. Ye Qinglan is not around. Even when Head Teacher Zi Lao Shui searched the whole room. There are no signs of her. Even her clothes are gone!
"Since when did I become a woman?" Zi Yingjun asked with an annoyed tone when one of the students told him why they are here. "Who told Head Teacher Ye Zen is taking in a girl? Step up!"
No one did. Head Teacher Zi Lao Shui looked back to the door when a young girl went forth. It was Zi Yan Yue.
"I did." she lowly said. Zi Yan Yue clenched her hand on the Xing Stone upon receiving a cold look from Zi Yingjun. "Yingjun, I saw her. Shi Zhao took her here. Why are you covering them up? Everyone knows I never lied."
"Oh." Zi Yingjun leaned off he window sill and waved his sleeve. "Then prove us where is this woman you're saying. You are ruining Ye Zen's reputation. Moreover, you interrupted us. Make sure you are telling the truth. After all, the Zi Yan Yue I know never lied for once."
