River turned slightly on the bike, glancing at Salem with that unmistakable spark in his eyes. “You know,” he began, voice low and teasing, “I think this spot deserves a little… freedom. How do you feel about skinny dipping?” Salem blinked, startled, a laugh escaping her lips. “You’re serious?” “Dead serious,” River said, grinning. “Water looks perfect, sun’s out… might as well make it memorable.” Salem hesitated only a moment before letting her adventurous streak win. “Alright, fine. But you owe me if a gator shows up.” With a shared laugh, they stepped down to the creek, River leading the way. The water was cool, refreshing against sun-warmed skin, and the waterfall’s roar masked their movements. Once fully in, they floated close, laughter fading into the quiet intimacy of the moment
