In the end
As the months passed, Gareth desperately tried to stay on top of his emotions, but in private, he sometimes found it hard, often crying for hours on end whilst he was at home, all alone. Contrary to his previous relationship with his parents, his mother did the honourable thing and changed everything for her son. The telephone calls to his mother especially increased significantly with her now making long trips down south regularly just to come and see him.
